Quick start
Go from sign-up to your first post and your QKAP link in your Instagram bio in a few minutes.
This guide takes you from a new account to a live page with your first post, shared in your bio. Already on Linktree, Wishlink or Stan? You can import your page instead of starting from scratch.
1. Create your account
- Go to qkap.app/signup.
- Pick a Username. This becomes your link, like qkap.app/yourname. Use letters, numbers, dots and underscores (3 to 30 characters). QKAP tells you if it's available.
- Enter your Display name. It's shown at the top of your page and you can change it later.
- Enter your email and a password, or use Continue with Google if it's offered.
- Tap Create my page.
You land on Dashboard → Overview, where a Set up your page checklist walks you through the rest.
2. Set up your profile
- Open Dashboard → Profile.
- Upload a Profile photo. Use the same one as your Instagram so followers know it's you.
- Add a short bio under About you, like "Daily finds under ₹999 · Skincare & home".
- Under Social & contact, add your Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp and other links.
- Tap Save changes.
More detail: Profile and bio.
3. Create your first post
A post mirrors one reel or video and holds the products you mentioned in it.
- Go to Dashboard → Posts and tap New post.
- Add a Cover image. This is the square tile followers tap on your page. You can also use a product image as the cover.
- Paste your reel caption or a short line in Caption. Followers can search it.
- Optionally paste the Link to the original post so followers can rewatch it.
- Under Products in this post, tap Add a product and paste your affiliate link. QKAP grabs the title, photo and price. Your link is saved exactly as pasted.
- Tap Publish post, or Save draft to finish later.
Your post gets a number, like #1. Say it in your reel ("it's #1 in my bio") so followers can find it. More detail: Numbered posts.
On the Free plan you can keep up to 10 posts live with up to 30 products. Premium removes these limits.
4. Make it look like you (optional)
Open Dashboard → Design to pick a template, colours and fonts under Theme settings. Every change shows in a live preview and nothing goes live until you tap Save. See Themes and design.
5. Share your link in your bio
- On Dashboard → Overview, find Your link in bio and tap Copy your link.
- In Instagram, go to Edit profile → Links → Add external link.
- Paste your link and save.
The Share your link step on your checklist ticks off when your page gets its first visit. You can also download a QR code for your page from the overview.
What to do next
- Publish a few more posts. The checklist suggests 3 to start, since a fuller feed gets more taps.
- Add a custom link in Dashboard → Links for anything that isn't a post.
- Group posts into collections.
- Take the dashboard tour to see everything else.
Common questions
Can I change my username later?
Yes, in Dashboard → Settings. Your link changes with it, so update your bio afterwards.
Can followers see my drafts?
No. Only you can see drafts. Publish or schedule a post when you're ready.
What if a store link doesn't fill in the details?
You can type the title and price yourself and upload a photo. Your link still works exactly as pasted.
