Page layout
In the Design editor, drag your page's sections into any order, hide what you don't need, and add blocks like headings, images, buttons, countdowns, FAQ, gallery and forms.
In Dashboard → Design, the list on the left decides what appears on your page and in what order. Drag sections around, hide the ones you don't use, and add your own blocks. The phone preview in the middle shows the result as you go, and the settings of the section you select open on the right.
See the feature page for an overview.
Sections on your page
Your profile header always stays on top. Below it, these sections can go in any order:
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Links | Your custom link buttons |
| Visit us | Location, hours and order buttons (cafes and restaurants) |
| Menu | Your cafe or restaurant menu |
| Shop | Products from your Store |
| Collections | Highlight circles |
| Series | Your reel series |
| Subscribe box | Deal-alert sign-up |
| Posts | Your numbered post grid |
A section only shows when it has something in it. For example, Collections stays hidden until you create a collection, and Shop until a Store product is published. The editor tells you what's missing, with a shortcut to fix it.
Reorder and hide sections
- Go to Dashboard → Design.
- In the list on the left, drag a section by its handle to where you want it. With a keyboard, focus the handle and use the arrow keys.
- Use the eye button to hide or show a section. Hiding never deletes anything.
- Tap Save. You'll see "Saved — your page is live".
Each section's ⋯ menu can also move it up or down, and duplicate or remove your own blocks. You can tap a section in the preview to select it. To start over, use Reset to the default order under the list (you can undo it). On a phone, tap Sections at the top to see the list.
Section options
Select a section to change how it looks on the right:
- Heading: a title shown above the section. Leave it empty for no heading.
- Links style: Compact buttons, Full-width list or Icon tiles.
- Shop style: Cards, Grid or Compact list.
Add your own blocks
Tap Add section at the end of the list, or point between two sections and tap + to add one right there. The section library opens: search, or pick a category like Text & media, Links & navigation, Social proof, Engagement & forms, Contact & location or Layout. Each card shows a preview in your own theme before you add it. The blocks are:
- Text: a heading and a paragraph, aligned left or centre. Links become clickable.
- Announcement: a highlighted bar with a button. Add both button text and a link, or the button won't show.
- Video: a YouTube, Vimeo or Loom link that plays right on your page.
- Divider: a line, with an optional label.
- FAQ: questions that open to show their answers. Up to 12.
- Testimonials: quotes from customers with their name and role, in a swipeable row. Only use real quotes you have permission to share.
- Gallery: up to 12 photos as a grid or a swipeable row, each with an optional caption and a link.
- Music: a Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud or YouTube Music link that plays right on your page.
- Link folder: pick some of your links to show inside one tappable folder. Those links leave your main Links list, so long pages stay tidy. Taps are still counted.
- Tab: splits your page into tabs (see below).
- Form: a contact, booking or sign-up form with up to 8 fields: short text, email, phone, long text or a dropdown. Visitors don't need an account. Answers appear in Dashboard → Form responses, where you can export them as a CSV.
- Heading: a big title with an optional line under it, small, medium or large, left or centred. Use it to start each part of your page.
- Image: one photo, kept as is or cropped square, portrait or wide, with a description for screen readers, a caption and a link.
- Button: one big button for your most important link, filled, outline or soft, with an optional small line under it. A wa.me link opens a WhatsApp chat.
- Countdown: days, hours, minutes and seconds ticking down to a launch or the end of a sale, with an optional button. When time's up it hides itself, or shows your message.
- Stats: up to 4 big numbers with a label each, like followers or orders shipped. Only share numbers that are true.
- Contact card: Email, Call, WhatsApp and Directions buttons in one card. Only the ones you fill in show.
- Map: your address with a Get directions button. For privacy the map only loads from Google Maps when a visitor taps Show map.
- Featured product: one product from your Store, shown big with its photo, price and buy button. Pick from your published products.
- Social post: one Instagram post or reel, TikTok video, YouTube video or Short, or X post. Nothing loads from that site until a visitor taps it, so your page stays fast and private.
- Quote: a large quote with an optional name.
- Spacer: a small, medium or large gap between two sections.
New blocks can be dragged into place like any section. You can add up to 20 blocks.
Under Your content, the library also lists the built-in sections. A hidden one shows Add and comes back where you're adding; one that's already on your page is selected instead.
Split your page into tabs
Add two or more Tab blocks and give each a name, like Shop, Links and About. Your page then shows a tab bar under your profile:
- Sections above the first tab always show, above the tab bar.
- Each tab shows the sections below it, up to the next tab.
- Drag sections between tabs to decide what goes where.
Each tab has its own address, like qkap.app/yourname#tab-shop, so you can link straight to a tab. A page with tabs shows as one column on computers too.
Spacing and motion
Under Theme settings → Spacing & motion (on the right when nothing is selected), choose how much room sits between sections: Compact, Comfortable or Airy.
Section entrance makes sections gently Fade in or Rise up as visitors scroll to them. Visitors who turned off animations on their phone or computer see your page without motion.
Build it with AI
Every block and option here can also be set by an AI assistant connected to your page (see AI connections). It can add and edit blocks, set the animation, and read your form responses.
Common questions
Why is a section marked hidden even though it's switched on?
It has nothing to show yet. The editor says why, such as "Hidden until you add links". Add the content and it appears.
Can I move my profile header?
No. Your profile header always stays at the top of your page.
Where do I change colours and fonts?
In the same editor: with nothing selected, the right column shows Theme settings. See Themes and design.
Does hiding a section delete my posts or products?
No. Hiding only takes it off your page. Everything stays in your dashboard.
