Terms of Service
Last updated:
The short version
- You own what you post, and you are responsible for it.
- You are responsible for disclosing affiliate links and following your affiliate programs' rules. We are not a party to those programs.
- Purchases happen on third-party stores, or directly with the creator for their own products. QKAP is never the seller and doesn't handle the payment.
- Building your page is free. Publishing it needs a Starter or Pro plan, which starts with a 14-day free trial: card required, nothing charged today.
- The trial turns into the plan you chose unless you cancel before it ends. Cancel any time; refunds within 7 days of your first payment.
- If your plan ends, your page goes offline. Nothing is deleted.
- No scams, counterfeit goods, malware links or fake clicks.
1.Agreeing to these terms
QKAP lets creators publish a storefront page that mirrors their social posts and links to products they recommend. These terms apply to everyone who uses the service: creators with an account and visitors who browse a storefront. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please don't use QKAP.
2.Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
- Give us an email address you control and keep your password secure.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.
- One person or brand may not create accounts to mislead visitors or evade a suspension.
3.Your storefront and content
You keep ownership of the images, captions, product details, links and profile information you add (“your content”). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, resize, display and distribute your content only as needed to run and improve the service, including showing your public storefront and generating previews when your link is shared. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for a short time for backups or legal reasons.
You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload, including product photos and cover images, and that your content does not infringe anyone else's rights. When you paste a product link, our servers may fetch that page to fill in a title and image for you. Check the result before publishing: you are responsible for what appears on your storefront.
4.Affiliate links and disclosure
Disclosing affiliate relationships is your responsibility. Many countries require creators to clearly tell their audience when they may earn money from a link, for example the ASCI influencer advertising guidelines in India, the FTC Endorsement Guides in the United States and the CAP Code in the United Kingdom. Affiliate programs such as Amazon Associates also have their own disclosure and linking rules.
- Use the disclosure field in your profile to show a clear statement on your storefront, and disclose in your posts and reels as the rules require.
- QKAP is not a party to your agreements with affiliate programs, networks or brands. We do not collect, track or pay commissions, and we do not guarantee any earnings.
- Keep prices, discounts and coupon codes accurate. Prices change often; if a deal has ended, update or remove it.
- Do not use the service in a way that breaks your affiliate program's terms, such as cloaking links where that is prohibited or making misleading claims.
- Automatic affiliate tags, Amazon sub-tags and opening links in store apps are optional, and so is sharing short links. Check that your affiliate programs allow a tool before you use it.
5.For visitors and shoppers
Storefronts are created by independent creators, not by QKAP. When you tap a Shop button, we briefly record the click and send you to a third-party website (or, on some Android phones, the store's app). We are not the seller of any product and are not responsible for product quality, pricing, availability, delivery, returns or refunds. Those are handled by the store under its own terms. Creators may earn a commission if you buy through their links.
Some creators also sell their own products through a shop on their page, such as digital downloads, courses, memberships or coaching calls. For those, the creator is the seller and you pay the creator directly, by UPI or through the payment page they choose. QKAP does not receive, hold or refund the money, and the creator, not QKAP, is responsible for the product, its delivery, bookings and any refund. QKAP only provides the order page, your private access link and file delivery on the creator's behalf. Keep your access link private: anyone with it can open your purchase.
If you sell through a shop, you are responsible for the products you offer, for confirming payments honestly and promptly, for delivering what you promised, for your own refund terms, and for any taxes, invoices and consumer-law duties that apply to your sales. Only sell files and content you have the right to sell, and only email buyers and subscribers in line with what they agreed to and the law.
6.Acceptable use
You agree not to use QKAP to:
- Promote or link to illegal products or services, counterfeit or stolen goods, weapons, drugs, or anything that is unsafe or restricted where your audience lives.
- Link to scams, phishing pages, malware or deceptive redirects.
- Post content that is sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, violent, or that exploits minors.
- Impersonate another person or brand, or mislead visitors about who you are.
- Infringe copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property.
- Inflate views or clicks with bots, scripts or paid traffic schemes, or otherwise manipulate analytics.
- Add people to a deal-alert list without their consent, or use subscriber emails for anything other than the deal alerts they signed up for.
- Scrape the service, probe or bypass its security or rate limits, or put an unreasonable load on our systems.
- Send false, abusive or repeated reports to harass a creator.
Anyone can report a storefront or post that seems to break these rules with the Report option on the page. Our team reviews reports and may unpublish posts, or suspend accounts that break these terms, as described in Suspension and deletion.
7.Usernames
Usernames are first come, first served, and some words are reserved. We may reclaim or change a username that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark, or is otherwise misleading. We will try to contact you first when we can.
8.Analytics and privacy
We show creators aggregate statistics about their storefront, such as views, clicks, device types and referring sites. We do not store raw IP addresses for analytics. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what we collect and why.
9.Subscriptions, billing and refunds
Creating an account and building your page is free. To publish your page (make it visible to visitors), your account needs a paid plan: Starter or Pro, billed monthly or yearly. Pro includes everything in Starter plus extra features such as more pages, your own domain, team members and longer analytics history. A yearly plan costs 50% less than twelve months of the same monthly plan. Prices include applicable taxes (such as GST) and are shown on our pricing page with what each plan includes: in Indian rupees for billing addresses in India and in US dollars everywhere else. Outside India and the United States, the checkout converts the US-dollar price to your local currency, and the amount you pay is the one shown at checkout.
- Dodo Payments is the merchant of record. Dodo Payments sells the subscription to you, processes your payment, calculates and collects applicable taxes (GST in India) and emails your invoices and receipts. Its own terms and privacy policy apply to the checkout and billing portal pages it hosts. QKAP never sees or stores your card or UPI details.
- 14-day free trial. If you are eligible (see “One trial per person” below), your plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You add a card or a UPI AutoPay mandate at checkout and are charged nothing that day (₹0 or $0). Your bank may ask you to approve a recurring-payment mandate for a higher maximum amount; you are only charged the price of your plan. Your page is published while the trial runs.
- Automatic conversion. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the trial turns into the paid plan you chose at the end of the trial, and the plan price is charged to the payment method you added. We email you before the trial ends. Indian banks may take up to about two days to complete the charge.
- Cancelling a trial. Cancel any time before the trial ends from Dashboard → Billing (or the billing portal linked there) and you won't be charged. Your page stays published until the trial ends, then goes offline.
- One trial per person. The free trial is available once per person and account, and only to accounts that haven't had a QKAP plan before. An account that has had a trial, a paid plan, Premium (legacy) or a UPI payment made directly to QKAP starts a new plan without a trial. We remember that a trial was used, even if the account is later deleted, and a new account for the same person or email address starts a plan without a trial. If you are not eligible, the plan is charged at checkout, and the checkout shows the amount charged today before you pay.
- Renewal. After the trial, subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you chose. The plan price is charged to your payment method at the start of each period until you cancel.
- Changing plans. You can switch between Starter and Pro and between monthly and yearly from Dashboard → Billing. During a trial, a change costs nothing now and the new plan's price applies from the end of the trial. On a paid plan, an upgrade (from Starter to Pro, or from monthly to yearly on the same plan, with Premium (legacy) counting as Pro) takes effect immediately: the new price is charged, less a credit for the unused part of your current period. Every other change, including any move to Starter (for example from Pro monthly to Starter yearly) and any move from yearly to monthly, takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Cancellation. Cancel any time from Dashboard → Billing. A paid plan continues until the end of the period you have paid for. There are no partial refunds for the remaining time.
- Refunds. You can ask for a full refund within 7 days of your first payment (the first charge after your trial, or at checkout if you started without one) by email (see Contact). Renewal payments are not refundable except where the law requires it. Refunds are issued by Dodo Payments to the original payment method, and the refunded plan ends.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, your plan continues for a 3-day grace period while the payment is retried and you can update your payment method. If no payment succeeds, the plan ends.
- When a plan ends. When a trial or plan ends (cancelled, not paid or refunded), your page goes offline: visitors can no longer see it, and its links, short links and QR codes stop working. Nothing is deleted. You can still log in, edit and export your content, and starting a plan brings the page back.
- Price changes. If we change the price of a plan, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and the new price takes effect from your next renewal after that notice.
- Earlier free accounts. QKAP no longer has a free plan. Pages published before this change stay visible for a notice period of at least 14 days, announced by email. If you start your trial during the notice period, your trial is extended by the notice days you have left, so acting early never shortens it. If no plan is started, the page goes offline at the end of the notice period and nothing is deleted.
- Premium (legacy). If you subscribed to QKAP Premium before Starter and Pro were introduced, you keep your plan, its price and every Pro feature for as long as it renews. It is shown as “Premium (legacy)”. Switching to a new plan moves you to the current prices and can't be undone. If your Premium (legacy) plan ends, a new plan starts without a free trial.
- Complimentary access. We may grant a plan free of charge, for example for a limited time or as a goodwill gesture. Complimentary access is not a subscription and can be shortened or withdrawn at any time.
- Earlier UPI payments. Premium periods paid directly to QKAP by UPI before card checkout opened run until the end of the month or year paid for and do not renew. New payments are made through Dodo Payments' checkout, which also accepts UPI. An account that paid this way starts a new plan without a free trial.
- Administrators. Members of the small team that runs QKAP have every feature on their own accounts so they can support creators and test the service. That access is not for sale and involves no payment.
10.Changes to the service
We are always improving QKAP, so features may be added, changed or removed. We aim for high availability but cannot promise the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. You are only charged for a plan you start: after its free trial, or at checkout if you aren't eligible for one (see Subscriptions, billing and refunds).
11.Suspension and deletion
You can stop using QKAP at any time. Delete your account from Settings in your dashboard, or ask us to do it for you. Deleting your account also cancels your plan. Deleting your account removes your storefront, posts, products and analytics from the service.
We may remove content, or suspend or close an account, if it breaks these terms, puts visitors at risk, or if we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable and safe, we will tell you why.
While an account is suspended, its storefront, posts, collections and links are hidden from visitors and it can't publish or edit content. The creator can still log in to export their posts, analytics and subscribers, remove content, or delete the account. When a suspension is lifted, the storefront is visible again.
12.Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, QKAP will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost commissions or lost data, arising from your use of the service or from any third-party store or affiliate program. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to be responsible for, and to cover our reasonable costs arising from, claims caused by your content, your links or your breach of these terms.
13.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we will make reasonable efforts to let you know in advance, for example with a notice on the site. If you keep using the service after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
