Online courses and certificates

Build a course with video lessons, notes, sections, drip release and course files, and give students a certificate when they finish.

Sell a course from your link in bio. Students get a private course page with your lessons, their progress and any files you include.

Create a course

  1. Go to Dashboard → Products.
  2. Pick Online course. A draft opens.
  3. Fill in Details: title, subtitle, description and cover image.
  4. Set the Price in Pricing (0 makes it free).
  5. Add lessons in the Lessons section.
  6. Add workbooks or templates in Course files if you have them.
  7. Tap Publish.

Add lessons

In Lessons, tap Add lesson. Each lesson has:

  • Title.
  • Section: groups lessons, like "Week 1".
  • Video link: YouTube (unlisted works), Vimeo or Loom. It plays right in the lesson. Other links open in a new tab.
  • Notes: plain text; links become clickable.
  • Unlocks after (days): 0 means available right after purchase. 7 means one week after (drip content).

Lessons save instantly, so there's no need to tap Save for them. Use the arrows to reorder lessons.

Host videos on YouTube as unlisted, or on Vimeo or Loom. Video files can't be uploaded to QKAP.

Course files

Files in Course files are private. Only students can download them, through their own link. You can add up to 10 files, up to 100 MB each.

How students learn

After you confirm their payment in Dashboard → Orders, the student's private page opens the course. They can mark lessons complete and see a progress bar. Progress is saved to their order, so it carries across phones and laptops.

New lessons you add later appear for everyone who already bought.

Certificates

Give students a printable certificate when they finish.

  1. Open the course in the editor.
  2. In the Sales section, turn on Certificate of completion.
  3. Save.

When a student marks every lesson complete, their certificate unlocks. It shows the student's name, the course title, your name, the completion date and the order reference, in your accent colour. Students can print it or save it as a PDF.

With drip lessons, the certificate unlocks once the last lesson is released and completed.

Common questions

Where do I host the videos?

On YouTube (unlisted works), Vimeo or Loom. Paste the link into a lesson and it plays inline.

Can students lose their progress?

No. Ticks are saved to their order, not one browser.

Can I add lessons after launch?

Yes. New lessons show up for existing students too.
