Creator mode and fan mode
Switch between running your page and following other creators as a fan, from the top bar or when you log in.
Your QKAP login works two ways. Creator mode is the dashboard where you run your page. Fan mode is your fan account, where you see what you bought from other creators, your memberships, the community groups you joined and your messages.
Choosing a mode when you log in
After you log in, QKAP asks How do you want to use QKAP?
- Pick Creator mode or Fan mode.
- Tick Remember my choice on this account to skip this question next time.
- Tap Continue.
If you were on your way to a specific dashboard page, for example from a team invite, you go straight there instead.
Switching from the top bar
- In the dashboard, use the Creator / Fan switch at the top. On a phone it shows two small icons.
- In your fan account, the same switch sits at the top right.
Your fan account
The first time you switch to fan mode, QKAP creates a fan account with your email address and your current password. You can also log in to it directly from the fan log-in page.
If you already had a fan account with the same email, QKAP uses it, as long as you've confirmed your email address. If you haven't, confirm it in Dashboard → Settings first, or log in to the fan account directly.
Common questions
How do I stop QKAP remembering my mode?
Open the chooser at qkap.app/choose-mode?ask=1, untick Remember my choice on this account and tap Continue.
Do my fan purchases show in my creator dashboard?
No. They're kept separately in your fan account. Your creator page's orders stay in Dashboard → Store → Orders.
