To hand a creator a page your agency built on QKAP, create it with New client page in your agency hub, set it up, then press Transfer and enter the creator's handle. The creator accepts in Team → Agencies and confirms with their password. The page then moves to their account with its link, posts, products, orders, subscribers and messages, and your agency keeps managing it only if the creator agrees. Transfer offers expire after 7 days, and receiving a page needs QKAP Premium on the creator's account plus a free page slot, because it arrives as one of their extra pages.

Key takeaways

  • Only pages your agency created can be transferred, and only the agency owner can send a transfer, confirming with their password.
  • The page keeps its username and link. Posts, products, orders, subscribers, messages and analytics move with it.
  • The creator reviews what's moving, can clear the page's UPI ID, payment link and seller details, and decides whether your agency keeps access.
  • The page becomes an extra page on the creator's account, so they need Premium and a free slot under their page limit.
  • If a creator only needs one page, it's often simpler for them to sign up themselves and give your agency access to it.

Why creators should own their page

A creator's bio link is their storefront, their inbox and their buyer list. Whoever owns the account controls where payments go, who can see customer details and whether the page stays online. If an agency owns it, the creator's business depends on that relationship lasting.

Ownership on QKAP is clean once the page is handed over: the creator owns the account, your agency works on it only with the access they grant, every change your team makes shows in their activity log, and they can remove your access in one click. That's a good position for both sides. Creators trust agencies that make leaving easy.

Before you build: agree the basics

Settle these in writing before you start, because the page will carry them over:

  • The username. The transfer doesn't change the page's handle or link, so pick it with the creator. (They can still change the username themselves later.) Our guide to choosing a link-in-bio username covers what makes a good one.
  • Payment details. The UPI ID and payment link decide where buyers' money goes. They should be the creator's, added by the creator.
  • Buyer data. Orders, customers and subscribers move with the page. Agree what your agency may see and export afterwards.
  • The route. Decide whether a build-and-transfer is needed at all.

If the creator only needs one page, the middle route is usually simplest: they sign up for free, following our getting started guide, and approve your manage request with Content or Full management access. Our agency accounts guide explains those presets.

Step 1: Create the page from your agency account

  1. As the agency owner, open your agency hub and press New client page.
  2. Choose the page's username and page name, plus an optional private label (only your agency sees it) so your team knows which client it's for.
  3. Optionally start from the look of one of your agency's existing pages. This copies the theme, colours, font and layout, not posts or products.

Client pages are extra pages on your agency account. They need Premium on that account and count towards the page limit the QKAP team set for your agency.

Step 2: Set up posts, store, appearance and inbox

Build the page the way the creator will run it:

  • Appearance: theme, fonts, colours and layout. Our guide to customising a QKAP page walks through the options.
  • Posts and links: numbered posts that match the creator's reels, collections and custom links.
  • Store: products, descriptions, prices, discount codes and lead magnets.
  • Inbox: the message button's words, the request types to offer and an auto-reply.

Leave payment details to the creator. A paid product can't be published without a UPI ID or payment link, so keep paid products unpublished until the creator has added their own in Store → Payments after the handover. Free products and lead magnets can go live straight away. Our guide to store orders and payments explains how buyers pay the creator directly.

Step 3: Send the transfer

  1. Open the page in your agency hub and press Transfer. Only the agency owner can do this.
  2. Enter the creator's @handle. Any of their pages' handles works; their account receives the page.
  3. Tick Keep managing this page if you'd like to stay on. You propose the access, and the creator can change or remove it.
  4. Add an optional message, for example "Your page is ready! Accept it to take it over."
  5. Confirm with your password, plus a two-factor code if you use an authenticator app.

The creator then has 7 days to respond. A page can have only one pending transfer at a time, and you can't send one while an import is still running on the page.

Step 4: The creator accepts and confirms

The creator opens Team → Agencies in their dashboard and sees your offer. Before accepting, they see:

  • What moves, including counts of posts, products, paid orders, subscribers, conversations and series.
  • The page's payment setup, with the UPI ID partly hidden and the payment link's website, and whether seller details for receipts are set.
  • A checkbox to clear the page's UPI ID, payment link and seller details, recommended unless those details are already theirs.
  • Whether your agency keeps managing it, and with what access.

To accept, they type the page's handle and confirm with their password, plus their two-factor code if it's on. Creators who only log in with Google need to set a password first. If they let your agency keep managing the page and already work with you on other pages, the new page joins that existing access with the permissions they chose before.

After the handover

  • If the creator lets you keep managing it, your agency works on the page with the access they approved, and staff who worked on it stay assigned.
  • If they don't, your agency loses access to that page, even if it manages the creator's other pages.
  • New-order emails now go to the creator's account email.
  • Every change your team makes appears in the creator's activity log, and they can remove your access in one click under Team → Agencies.

Transfer statuses explained

CancelledYour agency withdrew the offer before the creator answered
Expired7 days passed without an answer; send a new offer if needed

Frequently asked questions

No. The page keeps its username, so its qkap.app link, short links and QR codes keep working. Only the owner changes.

Do orders and messages move?

Yes. Posts, products, orders, subscribers, inbox conversations and analytics all move with the page. Nothing is copied or left behind on your agency account.

What if the creator doesn't have a QKAP account yet?

They need to sign up first, which creates their own main page, and then have Premium to receive yours as an extra page. If they don't need two pages, it's usually simpler to build on their new page through agency access instead of transferring.

Can a transfer be cancelled?

Yes. While it's waiting for the creator, the agency owner or an agency manager can cancel it, and the page stays with your agency. Once accepted, it can't be undone from the agency side.

What happens if the creator later leaves Premium?

The transferred page is one of their extra pages, so it pauses: hidden from followers, but not deleted. It comes back when they upgrade again.
