QKAP Store Orders and Payments: How Buyers Pay You and You Confirm
How QKAP Store payments work end to end: buyers pay you by UPI or your payment link, tap I've paid, and you confirm in Orders to unlock their purchase.
On this page
In the QKAP Store, buyers pay you directly by UPI or through your own payment link, and QKAP never holds the money. After paying, the buyer taps "I've paid" and can add their UPI reference number. You check that the money has arrived in your account, then confirm the order in Orders with one tap, which unlocks their files, course, booking or membership straight away. Orders gives you filters with counts, a product filter, bulk "Mark as paid", WhatsApp payment reminders and CSV export, so a handful of sales a day takes a few minutes to manage.
Key takeaways
- Payments go straight to your UPI ID or payment link; QKAP takes no cut per sale.
- You can't publish a paid product until you've added a UPI ID or payment link in Payments.
- Buyers of paid products log in to a free follower account, so their purchases are saved to My purchases.
- Because the money never passes through QKAP, you confirm each payment yourself in Orders.
- Unpaid orders are cancelled automatically after a week.
Step 1: set up how you get paid
Before you sell anything with a price, open Store › Payments and add at least one way to pay:
- A UPI ID. At checkout, buyers see a UPI QR code for the exact amount and can open their UPI app directly.
- A payment link from a service such as Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal or Gumroad. Useful for card payments and for buyers outside India.
You can also give any product its own payment link, which overrides the shop default. UPI works in rupees; payment links can be set in INR, USD, EUR, GBP, AED, SGD, CAD or AUD.
If you try to publish a paid product without a payment method, QKAP stops you with a message to add one first. Free products, such as lead magnets, don't need one.
Step 2: what the buyer sees
When a follower buys a paid product from your page:
- They tap the product's button, such as "Get it now" or "Book a call".
- They're asked to log in or create a free follower account, then returned to checkout. See follower accounts and My purchases for how that works.
- They see the price, any order bump you've offered, and a place for a discount code.
- They pay you by scanning the UPI QR, opening their UPI app, or using your payment link.
- They tap I've paid and can add the UTR or transaction reference.
- They land on their private order page, which unlocks once you confirm.
The private order page is theirs alone. They can return to it any time from My purchases or from the link itself.
Step 3: confirm the payment in Orders
Open Store › Orders. The filters across the top show counts for each state:
- All: every order.
- Unpaid: orders that need you, with buyers who have tapped "I've paid" shown first.
- Paid: confirmed orders.
- Cancelled: orders cancelled by you or automatically.
For each "I've paid" order, check your bank or UPI app for a matching amount and, if the buyer added one, the UTR. When it matches, tap Mark as paid. The buyer's page unlocks immediately: downloads become available, course lessons open, a coaching booking is confirmed with its meeting link, or a membership starts.
If several payments have come in, select them and confirm them together with bulk Mark as paid. The guide to bulk-confirming UPI payments walks through a quick daily routine.
Never confirm based on a screenshot alone. Screenshots can be edited; your own account statement can't.
Filtering by product
A product filter narrows the list to one product. It's handy when you're running a launch, a cohort with limited spots or a batch of coaching calls, and want to see only those orders. The filter counts update to match.
Chasing unpaid orders
Some buyers start checkout and get distracted. For an unpaid order, use Send payment reminder to open WhatsApp with a polite message already written, including the order number, amount, your UPI ID and their order link. You just press send. For a paid order, the same button becomes WhatsApp buyer, with a confirmation message and their private link.
Orders left unpaid for a week are cancelled automatically, so your list doesn't fill up with abandoned checkouts. Products with limited spots hold a spot for unpaid orders for 24 hours, then release it.
Other things you can do from an order
Expand any order to see its details: buyer name, email and phone, any answers to your checkout questions, the discount code, the add-on, the payment reference and, for gifts, who it's for. From there you can:
- Copy the buyer's private link to send it again, or create a new one if the old link was shared; the old link stops working.
- Open the receipt. Paid orders get a printable receipt with your business details and GSTIN if you've added them in Store settings. Whether a receipt meets your tax obligations depends on your situation, so check with an accountant.
- Cancel an unpaid order, which releases any booked time slot.
- Revoke access on a paid order if needed, which locks the content again.
- Confirm a renewal for a membership, which extends access by another period.
Exporting your orders
Export CSV downloads your orders, respecting the current filter and product filter. Use it for your own bookkeeping, to reconcile against your bank statement at the end of the month, or to share with an accountant. Your customers list can be exported separately.
How this compares with WhatsApp orders
The Store suits products QKAP can deliver for you: downloads, courses, coaching calls, memberships, bundles and tips. Physical products that need a delivery address and a conversation often fit better as WhatsApp or call-to-order items inside your posts. Read WhatsApp orders from Instagram for that approach.
Frequently asked questions
Does QKAP take a commission on my sales?
No. Buyers pay you directly by UPI or your payment link, and QKAP doesn't charge a per-sale fee or commission.
Why can't QKAP confirm payments automatically?
Because the money goes straight to your account, only you can see it arrive. Confirming takes one tap and unlocks the buyer's purchase.
What if a buyer says they paid but I can't find it?
Ask for the UTR or transaction reference and the exact time, then search your UPI or bank app. Don't mark the order paid until you've found the money.
What happens to orders nobody pays for?
They're cancelled automatically after a week. You can also cancel an unpaid order yourself at any time.
Add your UPI ID in Payments, publish one product and place a test order from a second phone, so you see exactly what your buyers will see.
