Getting started with QKAP takes a couple of minutes: sign up, pick a username, add a photo and bio, then create your first post and add the products from it. Your page goes live at qkap.app/yourname as an Instagram-style grid, with each numbered post holding the affiliate products from one reel or post. Paste that link into your Instagram bio and followers can tap straight to what you showed them, without needing an app or account.
Key takeaways
- QKAP gives you a public page at
qkap.app/yournamethat looks like an Instagram-style grid of your posts. - Each post is numbered, so you can say "it's #3 in my bio" in a reel and followers find it quickly.
- Pasting a product link lets QKAP fill in the title, image and price where the store allows it.
- The free plan includes up to 30 live posts, 3 collections, 3 custom links and 7-day analytics.
- QKAP takes 0% commission; your affiliate earnings go straight from the store or program to you.
What do you need before you start?
Gather a few things first and setup will be quick:
- A username idea, ideally matching your Instagram handle.
- A clear profile photo, usually the same one you use on Instagram.
- A one- or two-line bio saying what you recommend.
- One recent reel or post that featured products, with its cover image and caption.
- The affiliate links for those products from programs you've already joined, such as Amazon Associates or Flipkart Affiliate.
If you haven't joined an affiliate program yet, you can still build the page and add links later. Each program has its own sign-up process and terms, so check its official page.
Step 1: sign up and set up your profile
Choose your username
Go to the QKAP signup page and create your account. You'll be asked to pick a username, which becomes your page address: qkap.app/yourname.
Choose something short that matches your Instagram handle if possible. Followers will see it in your bio, and you may say it out loud in videos. Our guide to choosing a link-in-bio username covers the trade-offs, including what to do if your handle is taken.
Add your photo and bio
Open Profile in your dashboard. Add your profile photo and bio.
Keep the bio short and specific. It should tell a first-time visitor what kind of products they'll find.
Honest skincare for oily skin. Every product I show is numbered below.
Budget home finds under ₹999. Search the number from my reel.
Step 2: create your first numbered post
Open Posts in your dashboard and create a new post. A QKAP post mirrors one of your reels or Instagram posts: add its cover image and caption so followers recognise it.
Each post gets a number (#1, #2 and so on). That number is what you mention on camera: "It's #1 in my bio." Followers can search for the number on your page to jump straight to it. Our explainer on how numbered posts work on QKAP goes into more detail.
Step 3: add the products from that post
Inside the post, add each product you featured. Paste the product link and QKAP fills in the title, image and price where the store allows it. Stores such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Nykaa and Meesho, and many more, are detected automatically.
For each product you can include:
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Title | The product name, shortened if it's long |
| Image | Auto-filled or your own |
| Price and original price | Current price, plus the original price if it's discounted |
| Store | Where the product is sold |
| Coupon code | Any code followers can use |
Check the auto-filled details before you save. Prices change often, especially during sales like Big Billion Days, so keep them honest. See adding products from any store for tips.
Step 4: make it look like you
Open Appearance to choose a theme, accent colour, font and layout. On the free plan you can pick the Classic or Midnight theme, an accent colour, one of four fonts (Modern, Elegant, Friendly or Bold), a classic or centered header, and grid, cards or list layout. Premium adds more themes, a banner image and the option to hide QKAP branding.
Don't spend too long here on day one. A clean page with your first few posts beats a perfectly styled empty one. You can refine the look later.
Step 5: add your link to Instagram and share it
Copy your page link, qkap.app/yourname, and add it to your Instagram bio. Then tell people it exists. In your next reel, name the post number:
Everything in this video is #1 in my bio. Tap the link and search #1.
Your page also has a QR code, which is handy for printed material or showing on screen in a YouTube video. Each post also gets its own short link, covered in our guide to QKAP short links and QR codes.
What to do in your first week
A new page looks empty with one post. Use your first week to build a base:
- Add posts for your five to ten most popular recent product reels.
- Add custom links for your YouTube channel, WhatsApp or Telegram group, or anything else (up to 3 on free).
- Group related posts into a collection, shown as story-style highlights (up to 3 on free).
- Disclose that your links are affiliate links, in your bio, captions and videos. Our guide on how to disclose affiliate links has examples.
- At the end of the week, open Analytics to see page views, visitors, product clicks and top products for the last 7 days.
Free or Premium: which should you start with?
Start free. The free plan covers up to 30 live posts, 3 collections, 3 custom links, 2 themes and 7-day analytics, with QKAP branding on your page. That's plenty to learn what works.
Consider Premium (monthly or yearly, priced for your country with taxes included, and a 7-day refund) when you need more: unlimited collections and custom links, all themes, longer analytics ranges, post scheduling, affiliate tag rules, bulk import, broken-link alerts and hiding QKAP branding. Our Free vs Premium breakdown helps you decide, and full details are on the pricing page.
