QKAP Page Layout Builder: Arrange Sections and Add Your Own Blocks
Use QKAP's page layout builder to drag sections into order, show or hide them, add headings, pick link and shop styles, and add text, video and announcement blocks.
On this page
QKAP's page layout builder lets you decide what appears on your page and in what order. Everything under your profile header can be dragged into place: your links, shop, collections, reel series, subscribe box and numbered posts. You can hide a section without deleting what's in it, give each one your own heading, choose how links and shop items look, set the spacing, and add your own blocks for text, announcements, videos and dividers. A live phone preview shows the result as you go, and nothing changes on your public page until you save.
Key takeaways
- Your profile photo, name and bio always stay at the top; everything beneath them can be rearranged.
- The built-in sections are Links, Shop, Collections, Series, Subscribe box and Posts.
- Hiding a section keeps its content safe, so you can bring it back later.
- Custom blocks add a text paragraph, an announcement bar with a button, a YouTube, Vimeo or Loom video, or a divider.
- Changes go live only when you save. Discard brings back your saved layout and Reset returns to the default order.
What the layout builder controls
Think of your QKAP page in two parts. The top is your profile header: photo, name and bio. That part doesn't move. Below it is a stack of sections, and the builder controls that stack.
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Links | Your custom link buttons, such as YouTube, WhatsApp or a brand enquiry form |
| Shop | Products from your QKAP Store |
| Collections | Highlight circles that group your posts |
| Series | Your reel series |
| Subscribe box | The deal-alert sign-up form |
| Posts | Your numbered post grid |
By default, the order is Links, Shop, Collections, Series, Subscribe box, then Posts. That works for many creators, but it's only a starting point. If most of your followers arrive looking for a product from a recent reel, you may want Posts higher. If you sell your own e-book or coaching, Shop might deserve the top spot.
A section with nothing in it doesn't appear to followers, and the builder tells you why and links you to the place to fill it. The Subscribe box, for example, only shows once you've turned on the sign-up form in Subscribers, which is part of Premium; the Free vs Premium guide lists what each plan includes.
Theme, fonts, accent colour and post layout live separately in Appearance; see customising your QKAP page for those.
How to rearrange your page
- Open the page layout builder from your dashboard.
- Drag a section by its grip to move it up or down. On a phone you can drag with your finger; on a keyboard, focus the grip and use the arrow keys.
- Watch the phone preview update as you move things.
- Save when you're happy.
If you change your mind before saving, Discard brings back your last saved layout. Reset returns everything to the default order.
Show or hide a section
Every section has a show or hide switch. Hiding is different from deleting: a hidden Links section keeps all your links, and a hidden Shop keeps all your products. They simply don't appear on your public page until you switch them back on.
This is useful for seasonal changes. You might hide the Subscribe box outside sale season, or hide Collections while you reorganise them, without losing any work.
Give sections your own headings
Each section can have a heading above it. Headings turn a plain stack into something easier to scan: "Shop my presets", "My favourites", "Watch the series" or "From my reels". Keep them short and specific. A heading that says what a follower will get there is more useful than a clever one.
Choose link and shop styles
Two sections have their own display styles:
- Links can show as buttons, a grid of tiles or a compact list. Buttons are the most familiar; tiles suit a handful of links with recognisable icons; a list saves space if you have many.
- Shop can show as a list, a grid or a compact view. A list gives each product room for its description and price; a grid looks more like a catalogue; compact suits long shops.
Try each style in the preview with your real content. What looks tidy with three products can feel crowded with twelve.
Add your own blocks
Beyond the built-in sections, you can add your own blocks anywhere in the stack, up to twelve in total:
- Text: a heading and a paragraph, aligned left or centre. Good for a short intro, delivery information or your calling hours.
- Announcement: a highlighted bar with optional button text and a link, in an accent, soft or dark tone. Good for "Diwali orders close Friday" or "New course out now".
- Video: a YouTube, Vimeo or Loom video with an optional title. Good for a product demo or a welcome message.
- Divider: a line with an optional label, to separate one part of your page from another.
Blocks can be hidden just like sections, so you can prepare an announcement in advance and switch it on when the sale starts.
Set the spacing
Spacing controls the gaps between sections: compact, comfortable or airy. Compact fits more on the first screen, which helps busy pages. Airy feels calmer and more premium but pushes content further down. Comfortable is the default and a sensible middle ground.
Three layouts that work
The affiliate creator
Posts first, then Collections, then Links. Followers arriving from a reel want the post number they heard, so put the grid where they land. Our numbered posts guide explains why post numbers matter.
The seller with their own products
Announcement block, then Shop, then Posts, then Links. The announcement carries the current offer, the shop sits right under it, and your reel posts follow.
The coach or educator
Video block with a short welcome, then Shop with your calls and courses, then a text block answering common questions, then Links.
There's no single right order. For a deeper look at choosing one, read how to order your link-in-bio page sections.
Check it on a real phone
The preview is realistic, but always open your live page on your own phone after saving. Check that the first screen shows what matters most, headings read clearly, the announcement button is easy to tap, and the video loads on mobile data. Frequently asked questions
Can I move my profile photo and bio?
No. Your photo, name and bio always stay at the top of the page. Everything below them can be rearranged.
What happens to my content if I hide a section?
Nothing is deleted. The section's content stays in your dashboard, and switching the section back on shows it again.
What kinds of video can I add in a block?
Video blocks support YouTube, Vimeo and Loom links. Paste the video's link and it plays on your page.
How many custom blocks can I add?
Up to twelve custom blocks across text, announcement, video and divider types.
Open the builder, move the one section your followers look for most to the top, and save. Small changes in order are often the easiest improvement you can make.
