QKAP's Store has eight product types: digital downloads, free lead magnets, 1:1 coaching calls, online courses, memberships, bundles, tip jars and external links. All of them are listed on the Products page, each one click away from a new product. Choose by what the buyer actually receives: a file is a download, a booked time slot is a coaching call, a set of video lessons is a course, ongoing access to posts is a membership, and so on. Paid types are paid directly to you by UPI or your payment link, and you confirm each payment in Orders.

Key takeaways

  • Pick the type that matches what the buyer gets, not what sounds impressive.
  • Lead magnets are always free and grow your email list; everything else can be paid.
  • Coaching, courses and memberships suit ongoing expertise; downloads suit one-off files.
  • Bundles combine downloads, courses, lead magnets and memberships at one price.
  • External links put a card in your shop for something hosted elsewhere.

Digital download

The simplest product. Upload up to ten files, each up to 100 MB, add a cover, a description and a price. Buyers get the files on their own private page once you confirm their payment.

Use it for: e-books, preset packs, templates, printable planners, recipe collections, wallpapers.

Good to know: you can show a sale price beside a struck-through original, add a thank-you message, and offer a second product as a one-tap add-on at checkout. For the full selling flow, see selling digital products with UPI.

Free lead magnet

A free file that followers get in exchange for their name and email. It unlocks instantly, and the follower joins your subscriber list, with clear consent and an unsubscribe link in every email you send.

Use it for: a one-page checklist, a starter guide, a sample of a paid product.

Good to know: lead magnets are always free. They're the easiest way to start an email list you own, so you can tell people about future launches without relying on the Instagram algorithm.

1:1 coaching call

Set your weekly hours, call length and a break between calls. Followers pick an open slot, shown in their own time zone, and the slot is held while they pay. Once you confirm, they see your meeting link and get a calendar invite.

Use it for: consultations, portfolio reviews, styling sessions, career advice, tutoring.

Good to know: you can set minimum notice and how far ahead people can book, ask questions before the call, and run free discovery calls from the same setup. Upcoming calls are listed by day in Bookings.

Online course

Build lessons with a YouTube, Vimeo or Loom video and notes, group them into sections, and attach workbooks or templates as private downloads. Drip release can unlock a lesson a set number of days after purchase.

Use it for: structured teaching, such as a 4-week editing course, a beginner's baking course or exam prep.

Good to know: students can mark lessons complete and see their progress. Lessons you add later appear for everyone who already bought.

Membership

Charge monthly or yearly for access to members-only posts and resources. Each confirmed payment extends access by another period, and members always see when their access runs until.

Use it for: an ongoing community, weekly tutorials, behind-the-scenes content, early access.

Good to know: renewals aren't automatic; members pay you again each period and you confirm. Locking posts behind a membership is a Premium feature; check QKAP Free vs Premium for what each plan includes.

Bundle

Package two or more of your downloads, courses, lead magnets or memberships at one price. The page shows what the items are worth separately, worked out from your own prices.

Use it for: a "complete kit" (preset pack plus editing course), a starter bundle, a festive offer.

Good to know: coaching calls, tips, external links and other bundles can't go inside a bundle. Because a bundle unlocks the included products themselves, files and lessons you add later appear for bundle buyers too.

Tip jar

Let fans support you with any amount above a minimum you set. They pick a quick amount or type their own, pay you directly, and see a thank-you page with your message.

Use it for: creators whose content is mostly free, such as recipe pages, educational reels or local news.

Good to know: you can show how many people have supported you, and add a bonus link to the thank-you page.

A card in your shop that opens any page, such as a product on your own website, a workshop on another platform or a brand collaboration.

Use it for: things you sell or host elsewhere that you still want in your Shop section.

Good to know: QKAP doesn't process an order for an external link. It simply sends people to the page.

How to choose

Ask three questions:

  1. Is it a file, a time slot, a series of lessons or ongoing access? That usually decides it.
  2. Is it free? If you want emails in return, it's a lead magnet. If you just want to help, a free download works.
  3. Do you already sell several things? A bundle can lift the value of each order.

If you're just starting, a digital download or a lead magnet is the easiest first product. Coaching is a good second step if people already ask you for personal advice.

Where your products show up

Published products appear in the Shop section of your page, which you can move, rename and restyle with the page layout builder. You can also add any Store product to a numbered post, so it sits next to the reel that promotes it.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I create a new product?

On the Products page in your Store dashboard. Every product type is listed there, and one click starts a new product of that type.

Can I change a product's type later?

No. The type defines how the product works, from files to bookings to lessons, so it's fixed once created. Create a new product of the right type instead.

Which product types can be free?

Lead magnets are always free. Downloads, coaching calls and some other types can also be offered at no charge, and tip jars or pay-what-you-want products can have a ₹0 minimum.

Do buyers need an account?

For anything with a price, and for every membership, buyers log in to a free follower account before checkout. Free downloads and lead magnets stay a quick form.

Open the Products page, pick the type that matches the thing your followers already ask you for, and draft it today. You can keep it unpublished until it's ready.
