On QKAP, any numbered post can include products from your own Store, not just affiliate links. When you make a reel about your preset pack, e-book, course or coaching calls, open the post for that reel, choose Add from my Store, and pick the product. It appears in the post with its title, image and price, and followers who tap it go to that product's page in your shop to buy. You can mix your own products with affiliate picks, plain links and WhatsApp or call-to-order items in the same post, so the reel and everything it mentions live in one place.

Key takeaways

  • A reel that talks about your product should lead to a post that sells it, not just to your general shop.
  • Use Add from my Store in the post editor to attach any published Store product.
  • Store items copy the product's title, image and price, and open the product's page in your shop.
  • One post can mix your own products, affiliate products, links, WhatsApp orders and call-to-order buttons.
  • Mention the post number in the reel so followers know exactly where to look.

Why put your products inside posts?

Your Shop section is a great home for everything you sell, but it's organised around your products, not around your content. Followers arrive from a specific reel with a specific thing in mind. If your reel says "my full editing preset pack is in my bio", and the bio page leads with ten unrelated posts, some people will give up before they find it.

Putting the product inside the post for that reel solves this. The reel says "post #23 in my bio", the follower searches for 23 or taps the post, and the first thing they see is the product you just showed them. It's the same habit your followers already have for affiliate products, applied to your own.

It also helps when your reel mixes things. A "my editing setup" reel might show your own preset pack, a phone tripod on Amazon and a free YouTube tutorial. All three can sit in the same post.

What you can add to a post

Each item in a post has a kind:

ItemWhat it does
ProductAn affiliate or shop product with a price, opening the store link
Your Store productOne of your own published Store products, opening its page in your shop
LinkAny page, such as a blog post, playlist or form, without a price
WhatsApp orderOpens WhatsApp with your pre-filled order message
Call to orderOpens the phone's dialler with your number

If you sell physical products through chat, see WhatsApp orders from Instagram.

How to add a Store product to a post

  1. Create and publish the product in your Store first. Only published Store products can be added to posts. If you haven't made one yet, the product types guide helps you pick the right type.
  2. Open the post for the reel, or create a new post and note its number.
  3. Choose Add from my Store. A list of your published products appears.
  4. Pick the product. Its title, image and price are added to the post. Products already in the post are marked so you don't add them twice.
  5. Arrange the items. Put your own product first if it's the main subject of the reel.
  6. Save the post.

On the post, the item shows as your product. When a follower taps it, they go to the product's page in your shop, where they can read the description and buy. From there, the usual checkout applies: paid products ask the buyer to log in to a free follower account, then pay you directly by UPI or your payment link.

Which reels to connect

Some content naturally leads to your own products:

  • Before-and-after reels for presets, templates or editing courses.
  • "How I plan my week" reels for a planner or Notion template.
  • Quick tips that are a taste of a longer course or e-book.
  • Client results or Q&A reels for coaching calls, shared with permission.
  • Recipe reels for a recipe e-book with the full collection.
  • Behind-the-scenes reels for a membership with more of the same.

The pattern is simple: give something useful in the reel, then offer the full version in the post.

Writing the reel and caption

Keep the call to action short and specific:

  • "The full preset pack is in post #23 in my bio."
  • "Want the complete 30-day plan? It's in post #41."
  • "Book a 30-minute call from post #12."

Say the number out loud and put it on screen, because many people watch without sound. The numbered posts guide has more on making numbers easy to remember.

Mixing your products with affiliate picks

There's nothing wrong with a post that holds both your own product and affiliate links, as long as it's clear what each is. A few guidelines:

  • Lead with what the reel was about. If the reel was mainly about your course, your course goes first.
  • Don't crowd the post. Three to five items is easier to scan than fifteen.
  • Be honest about affiliate links. Disclose them as you normally would; your own products don't need an affiliate disclosure, but it's fine to say "my own guide" so followers know it's yours.

Free plan note

On the Free plan, products added to posts, including your own Store items, count towards the Free product limit across all your posts. If you reach it, remove an old item or look at Premium. The Free vs Premium guide sets out the current limits.

Checking what works

Taps on items in your posts show up in your analytics, so you can see which reels send people to your own products. Combine that with your Orders list in the Store to see whether those taps turn into purchases. If a reel gets plenty of taps but few orders, the product page may need a clearer description or price; if it gets few taps, the reel's call to action may need work.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add an unpublished Store product to a post?

No. Only published Store products appear in the list. Publish the product first, then add it to the post.

Where do followers buy when they tap my product in a post?

They go to the product's own page in your shop, where they see the full description and can check out.

Can one post have my product and affiliate products together?

Yes. A post can hold affiliate products, your own Store products, links, WhatsApp orders and call-to-order buttons in any mix.

Do my Store products in posts count towards the Free plan limit?

Yes. On the Free plan, every product in your posts, including your own Store items, counts towards the product limit.

Pick your most recent reel that mentions something you sell, open its post and add the product from your Store. It takes under a minute, and the next follower who watches that reel will find it straight away.
