To set up a reel series on QKAP, open Series in your dashboard, create a series with a title, add each part by uploading a video or pasting a link, choose who can watch, then publish. Your series gets its own page, such as qkap.app/yourname/series/glow-up, and every part gets its own link. Post Part 1 on Instagram with the caption from the share kit, and followers who tap your bio link can watch the rest back to back.

Key takeaways

  • A series is a set of parts that followers watch in order on your QKAP page, with the next part playing automatically after uploaded videos.
  • Add parts by uploading MP4, WebM or MOV files, or by pasting Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo or Loom links.
  • Each part can have a title, caption, poster image and a linked post for "Shop this part".
  • Series start as drafts; nothing shows on your page until you publish.
  • The share kit gives you the series link, each part's link and ready-to-paste Instagram captions.

What is a reel series on QKAP?

A reel series is a group of videos that belong together: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 and so on. The idea is simple. Part 1 goes on Instagram as a normal reel, and the remaining parts live on your QKAP page, where followers can watch them in order without hunting through your grid.

You can have up to 30 series, each with up to 30 parts. Published series appear together in a series section on your page, and you can move that section up or down in your page layout like any other.

Step 1: Create the series

  1. Open your dashboard and choose Series.
  2. Create a new series and give it a title, up to 80 characters. Keep it short and specific, like "₹15k kitchen makeover".
  3. Check the link. QKAP suggests one from the title, using lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. This becomes the end of your series address, so pick something you're happy to say out loud.
  4. Add a description of a line or two. It appears at the top of the series page.
  5. Optionally upload a cover image. Square photos work best. Without one, the first part's poster is used.

The series stays a draft while you work on it. Only you can see a draft.

Step 2: Add the parts

Each part is one video. In the parts section, add a part and choose how to provide the video.

Upload a video

Upload an MP4, WebM or MOV file up to 100 MB. All your uploaded series videos together can use up to 2 GB. You'll see a progress bar while it uploads, and you can cancel if you picked the wrong file. Uploaded videos play directly on your page and support the automatic "Up next" countdown at the end.

On the Free plan, uploaded series videos play in compressed 720p. Premium keeps them in sharp 1080p. Our guide to compressing vertical video for the web explains what that means in practice.

Paste a link to a video on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo or Loom, and it plays in an embedded player on your page. Other https links work too, but they open in a new tab rather than playing in place. Our comparison of uploading versus linking videos helps you choose.

Step 3: Fill in each part's details

For every part you can set:

  • Title. Optional, up to 80 characters. "The hook" or "The reveal" helps viewers scan the parts list.
  • Caption. Optional, up to 1,000 characters. Context, product notes or disclosure.
  • Poster image. Shown before the video plays. For uploads without a poster, the video's first frame is used.
  • Shop this part. Pick one of your QKAP posts, and viewers get a "Shop this part" button that opens that post's products.

Linking a post also works the other way round: the post shows a banner telling visitors it belongs to the series, with a button to watch the next part. Remember to save each part; parts save individually.

Step 4: Put the parts in order

Drag parts into the order you want. The order saves as you go. Part numbers follow the order, so the second part in the list is Part 2 and lives at /yourname/series/glow-up/2. If you've already shared part links, think twice before reordering, because the numbers will point at different videos.

Step 5: Choose who can watch

Under Who can watch, pick:

  • Everyone: anyone who visits your page can watch every part.
  • Members only: you choose how many of the first parts stay free, and the rest unlock for members of your membership plans when they're logged in. Locked parts show only their number and title; the video, poster and caption stay hidden.

Members-only series are a Premium feature. You can limit a series to specific plans or allow any membership, and write the message people see on locked parts. See locking later parts for members for strategy.

Step 6: Publish

Switch on Published and save, or use the publish button on the draft notice. A published series with at least one part appears on your page and is reachable by its link. If the series section isn't showing, check that the series is published and has a part.

Step 7: Share it with the share kit

The share kit on the series page in your dashboard gives you:

  • The series link, with a copy button.
  • A caption for Part 1 on Instagram, which names the remaining parts and includes the link, for example: "Part 1/5 🔥 Watch Parts 2–5 on my page — link in bio".
  • Each part's own link and caption, handy for stories, broadcast channels or replying to comments.

The kit also reminds you to put the series link in your bio, so "link in bio" lands on the series. For caption ideas beyond the defaults, see reel series captions and CTAs.

Step 8: Check your stats

Each series shows views of the series page and plays for each part since you created it. Comparing plays across parts tells you where people stop watching. Our guide to measuring reel series views and plays covers how to read them.
