To connect QKAP to Claude, open Settings → Connectors in Claude, choose Add custom connector, name it QKAP and paste https://qkap.app/mcp. Tap Connect, log in to QKAP if asked, review what Claude may do and tap Allow. Untick "Allow it to make changes" if you only want Claude to read your page. After that, you can ask Claude in plain words to design your page, add posts and products, or check your analytics. In Claude Code, add an http MCP server with the same URL.

Key takeaways

  • QKAP's MCP server address is https://qkap.app/mcp. You'll also find it, with a copy button, in Dashboard → Account → AI connections.
  • In Claude (web and desktop), add it under Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then sign in to QKAP and approve.
  • In Claude Code, add an MCP server of type http with the same URL; it signs in with OAuth, or you can use an API key.
  • You choose between full access and read-only on the QKAP consent screen.
  • Claude works as you, with the same permissions and Free or Premium limits as the dashboard, and it can never touch your password, two-factor login, billing or account deletion.
  • You can disconnect any time from Dashboard → AI connections, and access stops immediately.

What you're connecting

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that lets AI apps use tools from other services. QKAP runs an MCP server with 177 tools built from the dashboard's own actions: design and templates, profile and bio, links, numbered posts with products, collections, reel series, community groups, store products, courses and memberships, discounts, reviews, orders, subscribers and email broadcasts, cafe menus and hours, inbox, analytics, team and tracking pixels.

Once connected, Claude can use those tools on your behalf. You talk; Claude does the work and tells you what it changed. For the bigger picture, see how to build your whole page with one AI prompt and the AI assistant feature page.

Before you start

You'll need:

  • A QKAP account. If you don't have one, create a free page first; it takes a couple of minutes.
  • A Claude account with access to custom connectors.
  • The URL https://qkap.app/mcp.

Connect QKAP in Claude (web and Claude Desktop)

Claude's connectors are set up in the same place whether you use Claude in a browser or the desktop app.

Step 1: open Connectors

In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors. Choose Add custom connector.

Step 2: add the QKAP server

Name the connector QKAP and paste https://qkap.app/mcp as the URL. Save it.

Step 3: connect and sign in

Tap Connect. A QKAP page opens. If you're not logged in, log in to QKAP as usual. Claude never sees your password; you type it on QKAP's own page.

Step 4: approve access

QKAP shows a consent screen, "Connect [app name] to QKAP", listing what the app may do. There's a checkbox, Allow it to make changes (untick for read-only):

  • Leave it ticked if you want Claude to design your page, add content and run your store.
  • Untick it if you only want Claude to read your page, posts, store and analytics. Read-only is a good choice for reporting, or for trying things out before you trust it with changes.

Tap Allow. You're sent back to Claude, and QKAP's tools are now available in your chats.

Connect QKAP in Claude Code

Claude Code connects to remote MCP servers too. Add an MCP server of type http with the URL https://qkap.app/mcp. When you authenticate the server (in Claude Code, the /mcp command lists your servers and lets you sign in), QKAP's sign-in and consent screen opens in your browser, just like with the Claude app.

If your setup can't complete OAuth, use an API key instead:

  1. Go to Dashboard → AI connections on QKAP and tap New API key.
  2. Give it a name and choose whether it may make changes.
  3. Copy the key straight away. You won't see it again.
  4. Configure the server to send the header Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY.

Treat the key like a password: keep it out of shared files and public repositories, and delete it from Dashboard → AI connections if it leaks.

What to ask first

Start by letting Claude look around. A good first message:

Look at my QKAP page and tell me what's on it, what plan I'm on and three things you'd improve.

Claude will read your page overview: handle, bio, plan and limits, counts of posts, links, products and groups, your design and section order. Then try a small change before a big one:

Make my page look like a minimal beige skincare brand. Show me the plan first, then apply it and give me the link.

Once you're comfortable, try a bigger job:

Add these three products to post #14, with their prices and coupon codes: [links and details].

Which posts got the most clicks this week?

QKAP also offers three ready-made prompts to apps that support them: Design my QKAP page, Launch a paid community and Set up my store. If your app lists MCP prompts, you'll find them there. For many more ideas, see 30 AI prompts for creator link-in-bio pages.

Working with more than one page

If you have several pages, or you manage pages for a team, tell Claude which handle to work on, for example "on @mycafe". Claude can only reach pages you can open in the dashboard, and only with the permissions your role gives you.

Safety and control

  • Same access as you. Claude acts as the signed-in creator. Free plan limits and Premium features apply exactly as in the dashboard.
  • Off-limits actions. AI assistants can never change your password, two-factor login or billing, or delete your account.
  • Short-lived tokens. The app gets a token only after you log in to QKAP and tap Allow. Tokens expire after an hour and renew while you keep the connection.
  • Live changes. Everything Claude changes is live on your page right away, so review your page after bigger edits.
  • Real emails and replies. Claude is instructed to show you the subject, text and recipient count before sending an email broadcast, and to confirm inbox replies. Read them before saying yes, because sent emails can't be recalled.
  • Disconnect any time. In Dashboard → AI connections, tap Disconnect next to Claude, or the bin next to an API key. Access stops immediately.

Troubleshooting

Claude says it doesn't have permission to make changes

You connected with read-only access. Disconnect QKAP in Dashboard → AI connections, then connect again from Claude and leave Allow it to make changes ticked.

Claude says a feature needs Premium

Some features, such as non-free themes, paid community groups or scheduled posts, are part of Premium, just like in the dashboard. Upgrade, or ask Claude to use a Free option instead. Claude should explain this rather than keep retrying.

Claude says I've reached a limit

Free pages have limits on things like links, collections and live posts. Ask Claude to replace or hide something, or upgrade to lift the limit.

Claude can't use a photo from my computer

The QKAP tools accept images from https web links and images already on QKAP. Upload photos and download files in the dashboard first, then ask Claude to use them.

Claude is working on the wrong page

Say which page to use: "on @yourhandle". If the handle doesn't exist or you can't open it in the dashboard, Claude will get an error.

The connection stopped working

Check Dashboard → AI connections to see if the app is still listed. If it was disconnected or the API key was deleted, connect again. If the sign-in window didn't open, try connecting again from Claude's Connectors settings.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe to connect Claude to my QKAP page?

Claude only gets a token after you log in on QKAP's own page and tap Allow, and your password is never shared. You can choose read-only access, and you can disconnect at any time. Account-level actions like password, two-factor login, billing and account deletion are never available to AI assistants.

Does Claude see my followers' data?

Claude can read what you can read in the dashboard for that page, such as orders, subscribers and inbox messages, when it uses those tools. Connect read-only or disconnect when you don't need it.

Can I connect QKAP to ChatGPT as well?

Yes. You can connect several apps at once; each appears separately in Dashboard → AI connections. See how to connect QKAP to ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code.

Do I need to know any tool names?

No. Ask in plain words, like "make my buttons rounder" or "create a 20% launch code". Claude picks the right tools.

Where's the official setup reference?

The AI connections help doc has the current steps for every app, plus the address and disconnect instructions.

Connect once, start with a read-only look around, and let Claude take on the repetitive page work while you make the content.
