Canva, Beacons, Google Slides and more ranked for building a creator media kit: templates, live stats, sharing and cost. QKAP isn't a media kit builder; we say so.

For most creators, a free design-tool template such as Canva's is enough to make a good media kit. If your numbers change quickly, a tool with live stats, such as Beacons, Kitly or Passionfroot, saves you retyping them. Whichever you choose, host the kit somewhere you can update it, and link it from your bio and your replies to brands. Below we rank the main options and show how we ranked them.

Key takeaways

  • Beacons ranks first. As of October 2026, its pricing page lists a media kit that updates daily from linked social accounts on every plan, Free included.
  • Canva ranks second. It's our pick for design and templates, but you type the numbers in and must keep them current.
  • Kitly and Passionfroot also offer live-stat media kits, alongside campaign or sponsorship tools.
  • QKAP (our product) doesn't build media kits, so we haven't ranked it. It's a place to link your kit and receive brand requests.
  • Update your kit at least monthly, and before every pitch, so brands see current numbers.

What is a media kit?

A media kit is a short document or web page that tells brands who you are, who follows you and how you work together. It usually covers a short bio, your platforms and audience numbers, audience demographics, examples of past work, the formats you offer and how to contact you. Some creators add rates. A good one fits on a few screens and answers the questions a brand would otherwise ask in its first email.

How we ranked

We ranked tools on five criteria, weighted for a solo creator:

CriterionWeightWhat we looked for
Live or linked stats25%Numbers pulled from your accounts, not typed in
Templates and design25%Ready layouts, easy editing
Easy updates20%Change once, and everyone sees the new version
Sharing options15%Link, PDF or both
Cost15%What the free plan includes

Method. On 17 October 2026 we read each tool's official product and pricing pages. Where a page doesn't say something, we say "check" rather than guess. The ranks are our judgement against these weights, not a precise score.

Our bias. QKAP is our product, but it has no media kit builder, so it isn't ranked. We mention it only as a place to link your kit and receive enquiries.

The best media kit tools, ranked

1. Beacons

Best for: creators who want live numbers with no manual updates.

Strengths: As of October 2026, Beacons' pricing page says its media kit pulls data from linked social accounts and updates daily on every plan, Free included. The same page lists these on all plans:

  • unlimited media kit customisation
  • media kit analytics showing who viewed your kit and when
  • rate cards and a pricing calculator
  • past projects and featured content links
  • gated access, where brands enter an email to view
  • sharing by email, link or PDF

Limits: A custom media kit domain needs the Creator plan or above. If you also sell products on Beacons, its pricing page lists a 9% seller fee on the Free and Creator plans.

Price note: Free $0; Creator $10/month or $100/year; Creator Plus $30/month or $300/year (Beacons pricing page, as of October 2026).

2. Canva

Best for: creators who want a polished, on-brand design.

Strengths: As of October 2026, Canva's media kit page describes templates and a drag-and-drop editor. You can save the kit as a PDF, JPG or PNG, or share it from Canva by email or on social media.

Limits: You type every number in yourself, so the kit goes stale unless you update it. Brand Kit, which keeps your colours and fonts consistent, is a Canva Pro feature. We couldn't confirm how many media kit templates are free and how many need Pro.

Price note: As of October 2026, Canva's Indian pricing page lists Free at ₹0, Pro Lite at ₹1,590/year and Pro at ₹4,000/year.

3. Kitly

Best for: creators who want a live media kit plus campaign tracking in one app.

Strengths: Kitly says it offers a "Live Media Kit builder" with insights pulled directly from your social profiles, along with videos, links, rates and galleries. It also lists live post-campaign reports for brands, a campaign and deliverables manager, and invoice generation.

Limits: We couldn't confirm Kitly's current paid prices from its website, so check them in the app. It lists a $0 tier.

4. Passionfroot

Best for: sponsorship-led creators, such as newsletter writers and YouTubers, who want a media kit and a booking storefront together.

Strengths: As of October 2026, Passionfroot's creator pricing page lists a $0 plan that includes a "media kit with live stats", booking forms, scheduling and payments.

Limits: It's built around sponsorship bookings, which is more than you need if you only want a kit. Its help centre lists a 5% fee charged to the brand on deals you bring in, and a 15% sourcing fee from your payout on deals that come from its network. That article carries a "Pricing as of Feb 2024" footnote, so check the current terms.

5. Google Slides

Best for: creators who already work in Google and want a free, familiar editor.

Strengths: It comes with a Google account, and you can build a simple slide-style kit quickly.

Limits: It has no live stats and no media kit templates of its own that we could confirm. You keep the numbers current by hand.

6. Notion

Best for: creators who already plan their content in Notion.

Strengths: As of October 2026, Notion's Free plan includes unlimited blocks for individuals and file uploads up to 5 MB each, enough for a text-and-image kit page.

Limits: Notion has no live stats and isn't designed as a media kit tool, so the layout and upkeep are up to you.

Not listed: Linktree and Stan

As of October 2026, a media kit isn't listed on Linktree's or Stan's pricing pages.

A media kit only helps if brands can find it. Put the link where brands look:

  1. Your link-in-bio page. Add it as a clearly labelled link, such as "Media kit for brands". On QKAP, add it as a custom link, and pair it with the inbox set to Partnerships or Sponsorships so brands can send a structured request.
  2. Your reply template. Save a quick reply that says where to find your kit, so every brand gets it in seconds. QKAP's inbox lets you save up to 10 quick replies.
  3. Your email signature. Most contracts and invoices go through email, so link the kit there too.
  4. Your pitches. When you approach a brand, link to the kit rather than attaching a large file.

Keep one link and update what it points to. A live link, such as a Beacons media kit link, that always shows the latest version is better than sending a new PDF each month.

Your numbers matter more than the design. Our guides to Instagram Insights for affiliate creators and link-in-bio analytics explain which metrics to show, and landing direct brand partnerships covers how to pitch. On QKAP, link clicks and traffic sources are in your analytics.

Frequently asked questions

Should my media kit include rates?

It depends on how you work. Starting rates or a short rate card save time with brands who can't afford you, while "rates on request" leaves room to price each brief. Beacons lists rate cards and a pricing calculator on every plan as of October 2026, if you want them built in.

Should my media kit be a PDF or a web page?

A web page is easier to keep current, because the link always shows the latest version. A PDF is handy when a brand asks for an attachment. As of October 2026, Beacons lists sharing by link or PDF, and Canva lets you save a PDF or share from Canva, so you can keep a live version and export a PDF when needed.

How often should I update my media kit?

Update it at least once a month, and always before you pitch a brand. Tools that pull live stats, such as Beacons, which updates daily, keep audience numbers current, but you still need to refresh past work and examples yourself.

Can I build a media kit on QKAP?

No. QKAP doesn't have a media kit builder. Build your kit in a tool such as Canva or Beacons, link it from your QKAP page, and use the QKAP inbox to receive brand requests.

What if my following is small?

You can still have a media kit. Lead with your niche, audience location, engagement and examples of content that performed well, because a small audience that matches a brand's buyers can still fit its brief.
