The best link-in-bio tool for a team gives each person their own login with a real role rather than a shared password. It should let you limit people to specific pages and keep a record of who changed what. As of October 2026, QKAP (our product) ranks first on our criteria because it combines built-in and custom roles, page-level access and inbox permissions with no per-seat fee. Later suits teams who already schedule posts there, and Linktree offers full-access admins on Premium. The ranking and table below compare them on exactly those points.

Key takeaways

  • Never share one password. Use a tool with team invites, so you can remove one person without locking everyone else out.
  • QKAP ranks first on our criteria. It has four built-in roles and custom roles, can limit members to specific pages, offers up to 5 pages on Premium, has inbox permissions and an activity log, and doesn't charge per seat. QKAP is our product, so read our bias note below.
  • Later ranks second, and first if your team already uses it. Its Growth plan adds custom roles, approvals and a social inbox, and Link in Bio is included on every plan.
  • Linktree's admins have full access. Inviting one is a Premium feature, and Workspaces with assigned Linktrees are still rolling out.
  • For agencies managing many creators, compare agency accounts instead. This guide is for small teams.

A team-ready link-in-bio tool lets several people work on the same page without sharing a login. In practice that means four things. Invites go to each person's own account. Roles limit what each person can do, such as editing links but not seeing buyers' details. Access can be limited to some pages. And there's a history of who changed what. A shared inbox and per-seat pricing matter too, especially for a creator with one assistant or a brand's small social team.

Method. On 17 October 2026 we read each tool's official pricing page and help centre. We use QKAP hands-on because we build it. Where a page doesn't say something, we write "not stated" or "check". The ranks are our judgement against these weights, not a precise score.

Our bias. QKAP is our product, and these criteria happen to match features we've built, so weigh our first place with that in mind. If your team already lives in a scheduling suite, Later's single workflow may outweigh QKAP's finer roles.

1. QKAP (our product)

Best for: a creator with an assistant, or a small brand team, who wants fine-grained roles on link-in-bio pages and a store.

Strengths: QKAP has four built-in roles:

  • Admin: everything except billing and deleting the account
  • Editor: builds the page (posts, links, appearance, layout, products), with no access to orders or buyer data
  • Orders & support: orders, customers, bookings, reviews and inbox replies
  • Viewer: read-only

Owners can also create custom roles from individual permissions and limit a member to specific pages. Inbox permissions are split into See messages, Reply to messages and Manage the inbox, and your team can see which teammate sent each reply while followers see only your page name. The Team page's activity tab lists changes your members make. One login can run up to 5 pages on Premium (1 on Free), each with its own link, look and analytics.

Limits: The inbox covers messages sent through your QKAP page only, not Instagram DMs or email. There's no post scheduling to social networks.

Price note: QKAP prices plans per account, with no per-seat fee in its pricing as of October 2026. See QKAP pricing for what Premium includes.

2. Later

Best for: social teams who already schedule posts in Later.

Strengths: As of October 2026, Later's pricing page lists Link in Bio on all plans. Growth and Scale add collaboration and approvals, a social inbox for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok conversations, custom roles and permissions, and unlimited Access Groups to limit who sees which profiles.

Limits: Plans include 1 user on Starter, 2 on Growth and 4 on Scale, and Starter can't add more. Check Later's help centre if you need a record of who changed what.

Price note: Starter $18.75/month, Growth $37.50/month and Scale $82.50/month, billed yearly in USD before tax. Extra users on Growth and Scale are listed at $3.75/month each on the yearly view.

3. Linktree

Best for: creators already on Linktree who need one trusted helper.

Strengths: Linktree's help centre says you can invite an admin by username or email from the Account menu. Admins get full access to the design, Insights and links. Workspaces group Linktrees and teammates: managers have full control, and members only work on the Linktrees they're assigned. Owners approve requests and can revoke access at any time.

Limits: Inviting an admin is listed as a Premium feature, and an admin's access is all-or-nothing. Workspaces are "currently available to a limited group of Linkers". We found no published activity history or shared inbox.

Price note: Prices vary by region and are shown in local currency, so check Linktree's pricing page. An "Agency or Enterprise" plan is available through "Get in touch".

4. Beacons

Best for: larger creators and brands willing to use the top plan.

Strengths: Beacons' help centre describes Creator Max as "Perfect for: Big creators, brands, agencies, and teams", with Google Workspace for team collaboration and white-glove onboarding. Its separate Beacons for Managers product, for talent managers, includes unlimited teammates on paid tiers.

Limits: We couldn't find current help articles on team roles or permissions for creator pages. Check Beacons' pricing page for Creator Max's current price.

5. Lnk.Bio

Best for: people running many simple profiles.

Strengths: Lnk.Bio offers "Agencies or Multi Accounts".

Limits: We couldn't load its agency page to confirm tiers or team logins, so check it directly.

Not ranked: Shorby, now branded Shor, is still online as an Instagram bio-link tool, but we couldn't verify its plans or team features.

Never share passwords: setting up access properly

A shared password leaves no record of who changed what. You can't remove one person without changing it for everyone, and login codes end up passed around. Set access up like this instead:

  1. List who needs what. An assistant who updates links needs different access from someone confirming orders.
  2. Invite each person to their own account using the tool's team feature.
  3. Choose the smallest role that works, such as Editor for page changes or Viewer for reports.
  4. Limit access to specific pages if you run more than one.
  5. Protect the owner account. On QKAP, turn on two-factor login with an authenticator app in Dashboard → Settings → Security.
  6. Review activity monthly, and remove people as soon as they leave.

If you're still choosing a tool, our checklist for choosing a link-in-bio tool covers the other criteria. You can also compare Linktree alternatives, Beacons alternatives and the case for one all-in-one page versus several tools.

Frequently asked questions

Can two people edit a Linktree?

Yes. Linktree's help centre says you can invite an admin on a Premium plan, and admins get full access to the design, Insights and links. Workspaces let you assign teammates to specific Linktrees, but they're in limited rollout as of October 2026.

Does QKAP charge per team member?

No. QKAP's plans are priced per account, and its pricing has no per-seat fee as of October 2026. Extra pages beyond the first need Premium; see the pricing page for details.

How many pages can one account run?

On QKAP, Free includes 1 page and Premium up to 5, each with its own link, posts and analytics. If you leave Premium, extra pages pause rather than being deleted. On Later, Link in Bio comes with every Later Social plan; check Later for how many bio pages each plan covers. Linktree groups several Linktrees in Workspaces and offers an Agency or Enterprise plan for many profiles.

What's the difference between a QKAP team and an agency account?

A team is the people working on your own pages. An agency account lets an agency manage many creators' pages, with each creator approving access. Agency accounts are set up by the QKAP team on custom pricing.

Can teammates answer brand messages without seeing my orders?

On QKAP, yes. Create a custom role with only the inbox permissions See messages and Reply to messages, so a teammate can answer brands without any order or customer access. See the inbox feature page.
