What is cold brew, and why try it?
Coffee brewed in cold or room-temperature water for 18–24 hours. Since it's never exposed to heat, there are no bitter flavours: you get smoother, sweeter, less acidic coffee.
Do I need any equipment?
No. Fresh water and a jar do the trick.
How long should I brew it?
12 to 24 hours; the longer you brew, the stronger it gets. If you like milk in your coffee, brew for 16–24 hours. The founders' tip: 24 hours, in the fridge.
How much does one Brew Pack make?
About 450ml of concentrate, roughly 3 cups. Stored airtight in the fridge, it stays fresh for up to a week.
How do the Hot Brew Bags work?
Like tea bags: place one in a cup, pour over 200ml of piping hot water, dunk it a couple of times and let it brew for 5–7 minutes. Black or with a dash of milk.
Is your fine grind the same as instant coffee?
No. Fine grind has to be brewed in an espresso machine or moka pot; it won't dissolve in water or milk.
How long does ground coffee stay fresh?
12 months. Bags are sealed right after roasting and grinding, and a one-way valve keeps oxygen out, so you can store it in its original pack.
