# Reel series

Post Part 1 on Instagram and let followers watch the rest of your series on your QKAP page, free or locked for members.

A reel series turns one viral reel into a binge. Post Part 1 on Instagram, add the next parts on your page as links, and followers tap straight from one part to the next.

## Create a series

1. Go to **Dashboard → Series** and create a **New series**. Give it a title, like "How I grew to 100k". It starts as a draft.
2. In **Details**, add a description, a **Cover** (square photos work best) and, if you like, a custom link slug.
3. Under **Parts**, use **Add part**: give it a **Title** and paste the **Video link**.
4. Add more parts, then drag to change the order. Each part saves on its own.
5. Tap **Save & publish** (or **Publish now**). A published series shows on your page as soon as it has a part.

## What a part can be

Each part is a link. Video files can't be uploaded, so post the video first, then paste its link.

- Instagram reels, YouTube Shorts and videos, TikToks, and Vimeo or Loom videos play right on your page.
- Any other https link opens in a new tab.
- One series can mix platforms. Part 2 can be a reel and Part 3 a YouTube Short.

Each part can also have a **Caption**, a **Poster image** shown before playing, and **Shop this part**, which links a post so its products sit one tap away. Videos uploaded before uploads were turned off keep playing; you can **Replace with a link** at any time.

## Lock parts for members (Premium)

Under **Who can watch**, choose **Everyone** or **Members only**. With members only:

- Set **Free parts before the lock**, for example "Part 1 is free".
- Pick **Which plans unlock it?** Leave all unticked for any membership.
- Write a **Message on locked parts**.

Locked parts show only their number and title; the video, poster and caption stay hidden until people join. You need a membership plan first. See [Memberships](https://qkap.app/docs/memberships) and [Members-only posts](https://qkap.app/docs/members-only-posts).

## Share it

The **Share kit** gives you the series link, each part's own link, and an example caption for Part 1, like "Part 2 👉 link in bio". **Stats** shows plays per part.

## Common questions

### How many series can I make?

Up to 30 series, each with up to 30 parts.

### What happens when I delete a part?

The part and its plays are removed. The parts after it move up a number, so their links change.

### Can I upload a video file?

No. Parts are links only. Post the video on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo or Loom, then paste its link.
