# Location and opening hours

Add your address, map pin, phone and opening hours so guests see Open now, directions and a Call button.

The Visit us section on your page shows your address, a map, directions and your live opening status. You set it all up in **Dashboard → Cafe & restaurant → Location & hours**.

## Add your address

1. Go to **Dashboard → Cafe & restaurant** and tap **Edit location & hours**.
2. Fill in **Address**, **City** and **Country**. **Address line 2**, **Area or locality**, **State or region** and **Postal code** are optional.
3. Tap Save at the bottom.

Your address shows in Visit us, with a map guests load with a tap and directions in Google Maps or Apple Maps.

> The map only loads from Google when a guest taps Show map, so your page stays fast and private.

### Delivery only

Running a cloud kitchen or home kitchen? Turn on **Delivery only: hide my address**. The street, map and directions are hidden. Search engines still see your city.

## Add a map pin

A pin puts directions exactly on your door instead of the street.

1. In **Google Maps or Apple Maps link, or coordinates**, paste the Share link from Google Maps or Apple Maps. You can also type coordinates like 12.9716, 77.5946.
2. Save. QKAP looks up the pin for you.

If the link has no pin in it, directions use your address instead. A Share link from the app usually works best. You don't need a Google Maps API key.

## Phone for calls

Guests tap **Call** to ring the number in **Phone for calls**. Leave it empty to use the phone number from **Profile → Social & contact**. It follows any changes there.

## Opening hours

1. Make sure **Show opening hours** is on.
2. For each day, choose **Open** or **Closed** and set the opening and closing times.
3. Tap **Add hours** to add a second time slot on the same day, like a lunch and dinner shift.
4. Use **Copy Monday to every day** to save time.
5. Check the **Timezone**. Times are read in your business's timezone.

Late nights work too. A closing time after midnight shows as **Closes after midnight**, and you can also mark a day **Open 24 hours**.

While you edit, a preview shows what your page will say, like "Open now · closes 11 pm". Guests always see Open now or when you open next.

You can add a short note under your hours, like "Closed on Diwali" or "Kitchen closes 30 minutes earlier".

### Temporarily closed

Closed for a holiday or repairs? Turn on **Temporarily closed**. Your page shows "Temporarily closed" instead of your hours until you switch it off. Your hours stay saved.

> Turning **Show opening hours** off and saving clears your hours. To pause them, use **Temporarily closed** instead.

## Common questions

### Why does my page show the wrong open time?

Check the **Timezone** on this screen. Hours are worked out in your business's own timezone, not the guest's.

### Do directions and call taps get counted?

Yes. They show in **Taps in the last 7 days** on the Cafe & restaurant overview and in [Analytics](https://qkap.app/docs/analytics).

### Is this free?

Yes. Location, hours and the map are on every plan.
