# Sell digital downloads

Sell PDFs, presets, templates and other files from your page, with private download links that unlock once you confirm payment.

Sell e-books, presets, templates or any file from your link in bio. Buyers pay you directly, and their files unlock on their own private page.

## Create a download

1. Go to **Dashboard → Products**.
2. Under **Add a product**, pick **Digital download**. A draft opens in the editor.
3. In **Details**, add a **Title**, a **Subtitle** (one line on your shop card), a **Description** and a **Cover image**.
4. In **Pricing**, set the **Price**. Enter 0 to give it away free.
5. In **Files**, drop your files or tap **Choose files**.
6. Tap **Publish**.

You can upload up to 10 files per product, any file type, up to 100 MB each.

> Paid products need a UPI ID or payment link in **Dashboard → Payments** before you can publish them. See [UPI and payment links](https://qkap.app/docs/upi-and-payment-links).

## Files stay private

Files are never shared through a public URL. Buyers download them only through their own private order link. If a buyer shares that link, you can create a new one from **Orders** and the old one stops working.

## Pricing extras

- **Original price**: shown struck through next to your price, for a sale look.
- **Payment link for this product**: overrides your shop payment link, for example a Razorpay page with this exact amount.
- **Pay what you want**: buyers choose the amount, starting at your minimum. See [Pricing options](https://qkap.app/docs/pricing-options).

## Sell more at checkout

In the **Checkout** section you can:

- Change the **Button text** (the default is "Get it now").
- Ask up to 5 questions, each optional or **Required**.
- Add an **Order bump**: another product offered as a one-tap add-on. See [Discounts and order bumps](https://qkap.app/docs/discounts-and-order-bumps).
- Turn on **Add buyers to my subscribers**, so buyers can tick a box to get your emails.
- Write a **Thank-you message**, shown on the buyer's private page after payment is confirmed. Use it for next steps, a WhatsApp group link or a bonus.

The **FAQs** section lets you add up to 8 questions and answers, shown under the checkout.

## Launch and urgency

The **Sales** section has **Coming soon**, **Limited spots**, **Sale ends** and **Show sales count**. See [Limited spots and waitlists](https://qkap.app/docs/limited-spots-and-waitlists).

## After a sale

1. The buyer pays and taps **I've paid**.
2. You check your UPI app or payment dashboard.
3. In **Dashboard → Orders**, tap **Mark as paid**.
4. Their files unlock on their private page.

## Common questions

### Can I add or replace files after people have bought?

Yes. Files are managed in the product editor and save on their own. Buyers see the current files on their private page.

### Can I sell the same file in a bundle?

Yes. Bundles include downloads, courses and lead magnets. See [Pricing options](https://qkap.app/docs/pricing-options).

### Does a free download need payment setup?

No. A price of 0 makes it free, and it unlocks at once. If you want the email in return, use a [lead magnet](https://qkap.app/docs/lead-magnets) instead.
