# Collections

Group posts into story-style circles like "Summer picks", each with its own link you can share.

Collections group your posts into highlights, like "Summer picks", "Skincare" or "Under ₹999". They show as story-style circles on your page, and each one gets its own link to share.

See the [feature page](https://qkap.app/features/collections) for examples.

## Create a collection

1. Go to **Dashboard → Collections**.
2. Tap **New collection** (or **Create your first collection**).
3. Type a title, like "Summer picks", and tap **Create**.
4. Open the collection and tap **Add posts**.
5. Tap the posts you want. Search by #number or caption. They're added in the order you tap them.
6. Tap **Add 3 posts** (the number matches what you picked) to confirm.

A collection appears on your page once it has a live post. You can also add a post to collections while editing it in **Posts**.

> You need at least one post first. If you don't have any, create a post, then come back.

## Edit a collection

Open a collection to change its **Details**:

- **Title**: the name under the circle.
- **Link**: the end of the collection's URL. Use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. Leave it empty to use the title. Changing it gives your collection a new link.
- **Cover**: by default it uses the first live post in the collection. Tap **Upload cover** to use your own image. Square photos work best.

Tap **Save details** when you're done.

## Order posts and circles

- Inside a collection, use **Move up** and **Move down** to set the order followers see the posts in.
- On the main **Collections** screen, move the collections to set the order the circles appear on your page.
- To take a post out, tap **Remove**. The post itself stays on your page.

## Share a collection

Tap the copy link button next to a collection to copy its link. Share it in a story or a caption so followers land straight on that set of posts. For tracked links, see [Short links](https://qkap.app/docs/short-links).

## Delete a collection

Tap **Delete collection**. The circle and its link are removed from your page. Your posts stay exactly as they are.

## Limits

Free pages get 3 collections. [Premium](https://qkap.app/pricing) gives you unlimited collections.

## When a collection is hidden

A collection doesn't show on your page when:

- It has no live posts yet.
- The Collections section is hidden in [Page layout](https://qkap.app/docs/page-layout).

## Common questions

### Does deleting a collection delete my posts?

No. Only the circle and its link go. Your posts stay as they are.

### Can a post be in more than one collection?

Yes. Add it to as many collections as you like.

### Why can't I create another collection?

You've reached your plan's limit. Delete one, or upgrade to [Premium](https://qkap.app/pricing).
