# Your page in Apple Wallet

Add your page to Apple Wallet as a card with your photo, name and a QR code, then show it on your iPhone so people can scan it and open your page.

Keep your page on your iPhone as an Apple Wallet card. When you meet someone at a shoot, a pop-up or an event, open Wallet and show your card: they point their phone's camera at the QR code and your page opens. No app to install and no link to type.

## What's on your card

- **Your page name**, big, with **your photo** beside it.
- **Your @handle** at the top.
- **A QR code** that opens your page, with your page's address (qkap.app/yourname) under it.
- On the back: your page link and your bio.

The card shows the QKAP logo and name at the top. If you hide QKAP branding on your page (a [Pro](https://qkap.app/pricing) feature), your card leaves them out too.

Everything on the card is already public on your page. Nothing private, like your email or your orders, goes on it.

## Before you start

- **Your page must be live.** Until it is, the page shows the preview but no code or button. See [Plans and pricing](https://qkap.app/docs/plans-and-premium).
- **Add a profile photo** to show it on your card. See [Profile and bio](https://qkap.app/docs/profile-and-bio).
- **Coming soon?** If the page says Apple Wallet cards are coming soon, they aren't available yet. The preview already shows how your card will look.

## Add your card

Go to **Dashboard → Apple Wallet** (on a phone, it's under **More**). You'll see a preview of your card (**Show back** turns it over). Under **Card colour**, pick **Your page** (your theme's colours), **Accent** (your accent colour), **Black** or **White**; colours that would look the same show once. The preview changes as you tap.

### From a computer

1. Open the **Camera** on your iPhone and point it at the code on your screen.
2. Tap the link that appears. Safari opens your card.
3. Tap **Add**.

In Safari on a Mac, you can also add the card with the **Add to Apple Wallet** button on the screen.

### On your iPhone

1. Open **Dashboard → Apple Wallet** in Safari.
2. Tap **Add to Apple Wallet**, then **Add**.

If you're in Instagram's or another app's browser, open the page in Safari first: apps' own browsers often can't add Wallet cards.

The code and the button work for an hour. If the page stays open longer, it gets fresh ones by itself.

## Show it to people

1. Open **Wallet** on your iPhone and tap your card.
2. Let the other person scan the QR code with their phone's camera.

Their phone opens your page, on iPhone and Android alike. They don't need Apple Wallet or a QKAP account.

## Keep your card up to date

Your card doesn't update by itself yet. After you change your name, photo or bio, add it again from **Dashboard → Apple Wallet** to get the new version.

If you change your username, the code on your card keeps opening your page. The card still shows your old @handle and address until you add it again.

To remove a card from your iPhone, open it in Wallet, tap **⋯** and look for **Remove Pass**.

## Common questions

### Does it work on Android?

Wallet cards are kept on an iPhone, so you need one to carry your card. Anyone can scan your card's code, though, including with an Android phone.

### Does the QR code use my own domain?

No. It opens a qkap.app link that always leads to your page, so it keeps working if you change your username, or connect or remove a [custom domain](https://qkap.app/docs/custom-domains).

### Can my team add the card?

Yes. Everyone who can open your page's dashboard can add it to their own iPhone, for example to share your page at your stall.

### Does it cost anything?

No. The card is included in Starter and Pro, and adding it to Wallet is free.
