# Build your page with AI (MCP)

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another AI assistant to QKAP and let it design and run your page for you.

QKAP has an MCP server, so AI assistants can work on your page for you. Connect it once, then ask in plain words: "make my page look like a minimal beige skincare brand", "add these three products to post #14", "create a paid community for my members" or "which posts got the most clicks this week?". The assistant uses the same tools you use in the dashboard, with the same access and limits.

## Your MCP server address

Use this URL in every AI app: `https://qkap.app/mcp`

You'll also find it, with a copy button, in **Dashboard → AI connections** (at the bottom of the sidebar, or the **AI connections** tab in **Settings**).

## Connect Claude

1. In Claude, open **Settings → Connectors** and choose **Add custom connector**.
2. Name it QKAP and paste `https://qkap.app/mcp`.
3. Tap **Connect**. QKAP opens; log in if asked.
4. Check what the app may do and tap **Allow**. Untick **Allow it to make changes** if you only want it to read.

## Connect ChatGPT

1. In ChatGPT, open **Settings → Connectors**. Custom connectors need developer mode on some plans.
2. Create a connector with the URL `https://qkap.app/mcp` and OAuth sign-in.
3. Log in to QKAP and tap **Allow**.

## Connect Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code and other tools

Add an MCP server of type **http** with the URL `https://qkap.app/mcp`. Most tools sign in with OAuth, just like Claude. If a tool can't, create an API key:

1. Go to **Dashboard → AI connections** and tap **New API key**.
2. Give it a name and choose whether it may make changes.
3. Copy the key. You won't see it again.
4. In your tool, send it as the header `Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY`.

## What AI assistants can do

- **Design**: templates, themes, colours, fonts, buttons, cards, your profile and bio, and the order of sections on your page.
- **Content**: links, numbered posts with products and affiliate links, collections, reel series and community groups.
- **Store**: products, courses, memberships, discounts, reviews, orders and payment confirmations, subscribers and email broadcasts.
- **Cafes and restaurants**: menu, opening hours, location and order buttons.
- **Insights and people**: analytics, inbox replies, tracking pixels and your team.

Everything happens as you, so Free plan limits and Premium features apply exactly as in the dashboard. Changes go live on your page right away.

AI assistants can never change your password, two-factor login or billing, or delete your account.

## Several pages and team pages

If you have more than one page, or manage pages for a team, tell the assistant which handle to work on, for example "on @mycafe". It can only reach pages you can open in the dashboard.

## Disconnect

Open **Dashboard → AI connections**. Tap **Disconnect** next to an app, or the bin next to an API key. It stops working immediately.

## Common questions

### Is it safe?

The app only gets a token for your account after you log in to QKAP and tap **Allow**. Tokens expire after an hour and renew while you keep the connection; disconnecting cancels them. Your password is never shared with the app.

### The assistant says a feature needs Premium

That feature is part of [Premium](https://qkap.app/pricing) on QKAP, just like in the dashboard. Upgrade, or ask the assistant to use something else.

### Can the assistant upload photos from my computer?

It can use images from web links (for example a photo URL you give it) and images already on QKAP. To upload a file from your phone or computer, use the dashboard.
