# Affiliate links

Add affiliate product links that are never rewritten, set up affiliate tag rules, and add link buttons under your bio.

Paste a link from Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra or any store, and QKAP fills in the details. Followers land on the exact link you saved; your affiliate tag is never edited.

## Add an affiliate product

1. Open a post in **Dashboard → Posts** (or start a new one).
2. Under **Products**, paste your affiliate link. **Auto-fill** grabs the title, photo and price.
3. Check the details. You can set **Price**, **Original price**, **Coupon code** and **Store** (detected automatically).
4. Save the post.

Any http link works: Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, AJIO, Nykaa, Meesho, tools like Wishlink or EarnKaro, and your own site. Popular stores are recognised and labelled for you.

> Tip: Your link is saved exactly as pasted. What you paste is what followers open.

## Affiliate tag rules (Premium)

**Dashboard → Affiliate tags** adds your affiliate IDs at the moment a follower taps Shop. The links saved in your posts never change.

### Tag rules

1. Under **Tag rules**, add a rule.
2. Enter the **Store domain** (like `amazon.in`; use `amazon.*` for every Amazon country; subdomains are included).
3. Enter the **Parameter** (Amazon uses `tag`, Flipkart `affid`) and **Your ID**. You can also **Paste a tagged link** to fill these in.
4. Choose what happens when a link already has this parameter, then **Save rule**.

Rules run from top to bottom. For each parameter, the first matching rule wins.

### Amazon sub-tag

Turn on **Add a sub-tag to Amazon links** to add `ascsubtag`, so your Amazon Associates reports show which post each sale came from. The **Sub-tag template** can use `{username}` and `{postNumber}`. It's only added when the link doesn't already have one.

### Open in app

**Open store links in the shopping app** sends followers from the Instagram mini browser to the store's app, where they're usually logged in. This works on Android inside Instagram, Facebook and other in-app browsers; iPhone and desktop are unchanged.

### Test a link

Use **Test a link** to paste a product link (and optionally a **Post #**) and see exactly where followers will land.

## Broken-link alerts (Premium)

With Premium, QKAP checks your product links and warns you in your dashboard when one stops working.

## Links under your bio

**Dashboard → Links** adds buttons under your bio for WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, YouTube, X, your website, email and more.

1. Go to **Dashboard → Links** and add a link.
2. Pick the type, paste the link (we add https:// if missing) and set the **Button text**. WhatsApp links can have a **Pre-filled message**.
3. Tap **Save link**. Drag to reorder.

Hiding a link keeps it and its click history; deleting removes it for good. Free pages get 3 custom links; Premium makes them unlimited. See [pricing](https://qkap.app/pricing).

## Common questions

### Will my affiliate tags stay intact?

Yes. Saved links are never edited. Tag rules only add a tag at the moment of a tap.

### Do you show an affiliate disclosure?

Your page footer links to QKAP's affiliate disclosure, and you can add your own note in your bio.

### Do tag rules change links in posts I already made?

They apply at tap time to every matching link, but the saved links themselves never change.
