# Sell Physical Products From Your Bio: Stock, Shipping, Tracking

> How to sell physical products from your QKAP page: stock, delivery fees, Indian PIN code addresses, fulfilment statuses, courier tracking links and reports.

To sell physical products from your QKAP page, create a **Physical product** in your Store with a price, a stock count and a delivery fee. Buyers choose a quantity, enter their delivery address and pay you directly by UPI or your own payment link. You confirm the payment in Orders, then move the order through To ship, Processing, Shipped and Delivered, adding the courier and a tracking link that appears on the buyer's order page. QKAP takes no commission, but it doesn't offer cash on delivery, book couriers or print shipping labels, so it suits small catalogues better than full e-commerce.

## Key takeaways

- A physical product collects a structured delivery address (with a valid 6-digit PIN code in India), the quantity and, if the buyer adds it, their payment reference, which replaces most back-and-forth in DMs.
- Payments go straight to your UPI ID or payment link; you confirm each one before shipping.
- Statuses run To ship → Processing → Shipped → Delivered, with Returned for parcels that come back. Buyers see progress, the courier and a "Track your parcel" button on their private order page.
- The Needs attention view flags paid orders not delivered within 7 days and payments waiting more than a day for your confirmation.
- QKAP has no cash on delivery, courier booking, shipping-rate calculation or label printing. You ship with your own courier account.

## When a product listing beats WhatsApp-only orders

Many Instagram sellers start with "DM to order". It works until it doesn't: addresses get lost in long chats, buyers forget to send a PIN code, and it's hard to tell who has paid. A product listing fixes the boring parts. Every order arrives with a name, phone, full address, quantity, order number and, often, the buyer's UPI reference.

WhatsApp still has a place. Keep it for questions, custom requests and made-to-order pieces, and send people to the product page when they're ready to buy. Our guide to [taking WhatsApp orders from Instagram](https://qkap.app/blog/whatsapp-orders-from-instagram) shows how the two fit together.

## Creating a physical product

1. Make sure you can be paid: add your UPI ID and/or a payment link in **Dashboard → Payments**. A paid product can't be published without one.
2. Open **Dashboard → Products** and create a new product. Choose **Physical product** ("Merch, books, prints or anything you ship to the buyer").
3. Add the title, description, cover image and price. An optional sale price shows the original struck through.
4. Fill in **Delivery & inventory**: the delivery fee, your stock and an optional SKU (details below).
5. Publish, then add the product to a post or your shop section.

The three delivery and inventory fields:

- **Delivery fee:** charged once per order. Leave it at 0 or empty for free delivery. Discount codes never reduce it.
- **Stock:** the units you have. Leave it empty for unlimited. When 10 or fewer are left, the page shows "Only N left".
- **SKU:** your own code, shown on orders and packing slips.

Buyers can order up to 20 units at once, never more than your stock. Paid orders and orders waiting for your confirmation hold their units; unpaid orders release them after 24 hours. QKAP products don't have size or colour variants, so ask for those with a checkout question (up to five per product) or create one product per variant. Our guide to [QKAP product types](https://qkap.app/blog/qkap-product-types-explained) compares physical products with the other types.

## Checkout: delivery address and payment straight to you

Buyers need a free QKAP account to buy anything with a price. At checkout they choose a quantity and enter the recipient's name, phone number, address, city, state and postal code. For India, the state field suggests states and union territories, and the PIN code must be a valid 6-digit code. Besides India, the country list has 18 other countries, including the UAE, the UK, the US, Canada, Australia and Singapore.

Payment goes directly to you: a UPI QR code and UPI app button for rupee shops, or your own payment link from Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, Gumroad or any https page. QKAP never touches the money and charges no per-sale fee. Your payment provider may charge its own fees. More on this on the [UPI payments](https://qkap.app/features/upi-payments) page.

## Confirming payments (UTR matching)

Because the money goes from the buyer's bank to yours, QKAP can't see it arrive. The buyer taps **I've paid** and can enter their UTR, the UPI transaction reference. You check your UPI or bank app, match the amount and UTR, and mark the order as paid. On busy days you can confirm many orders at once; our guide to [bulk-confirming UPI payments](https://qkap.app/blog/bulk-confirm-upi-payments) has a safe routine.

Never ship before confirming. QKAP enforces this: an order's delivery status can't change until its payment is confirmed. The full payment flow is explained in [QKAP store orders and payments](https://qkap.app/blog/qkap-store-orders-and-payments).

## Fulfilment statuses and what each one means for the buyer

Every buyer has a private order page showing a four-step tracker (Ordered, Packing, Shipped, Delivered) and a short status line.

| Status in your dashboard | What the buyer sees | Your next step |
|---|---|---|
| Unpaid or "I've paid" | "Your order ships once [your name] confirms the payment" | Match the payment and mark it paid |
| To ship | Ordered; you're getting the order ready, and tracking will appear once it ships | Pack the order and print a packing slip |
| Processing | Packing step ticked | Book the pickup with your courier |
| Shipped | "Shipped on" the date, courier, tracking number and a "Track your parcel" button | Send the buyer a shipped update |
| Delivered | "Delivered on" the date | Ask for a review if they're happy |
| Returned | "This order was returned" | Settle the refund directly with the buyer |

Only shipped or delivered orders can be marked Returned.

## Adding the courier and tracking link

Open the order and fill in the delivery form:

- **Status:** pick the new stage.
- **Courier:** type any name. Suggestions include Delhivery, Blue Dart, DTDC, India Post, Ecom Express, Shiprocket and Xpressbees.
- **Tracking number (AWB):** the airway bill number from your courier.
- **Tracking link:** the courier's https tracking page for this parcel.

**Save & mark shipped** updates the buyer's order page at once. To let the buyer know, use the one-tap **WhatsApp "shipped" update**, which opens a ready message to their number; there's a "delivered" version too. If your order screen shows **Email the buyer when it ships or arrives**, QKAP can send an email as well.

You can print **packing slips** for one order or many. Each shows the ship-to address, items, quantity and SKU, with no prices, plus a QR code the buyer can scan to open their order page.

## Needs attention: the orders that slip

The Orders list has views that catch problems early:

- **Unpaid > 48 h:** orders nobody has paid for after two days. Send a polite reminder or let them lapse; unpaid orders are cancelled automatically after 7 days.
- **Needs attention:** paid physical orders not delivered within 7 days of payment, and orders where the buyer said "I've paid" more than 24 hours ago and is still waiting for you.
- **To ship** and **Shipped:** your packing queue and what's on the road.

A quick daily pass through Needs attention keeps buyers from chasing you.

## Tags, CSV export and reports

- **Tags:** up to 10 per order, 24 characters each, such as "gift wrap", "fragile" or "Mumbai batch".
- **Search:** find orders by name, email, phone, order number, UTR or AWB.
- **CSV export:** download orders and customers for your records and accounts.
- **Store reports:** revenue, paid orders, average order value and units sold, plus a fulfilment section with the average time from payment to shipping, from shipping to delivery, and how many orders arrived within 7 days.

See [customers and orders](https://qkap.app/features/customers-and-orders) for the rest of the order tools.

## What QKAP doesn't do

Being clear about limits saves you surprises:

- **No cash on delivery.** Buyers pay upfront by UPI or your payment link.
- **No courier integration.** QKAP doesn't book pickups, calculate shipping rates, print shipping labels or pull tracking updates from couriers. Use your courier or shipping aggregator account for that, then paste the details into the order.
- **No variants or multi-location inventory.** Stock is a single count per product.
- **No automatic refunds.** Money never passes through QKAP, so refunds go from you to the buyer directly.

If you sell hundreds of SKUs, need COD or want automated shipping, a full e-commerce platform is the better fit. For a focused catalogue sold from reels, a product listing on your bio page is usually enough.

## QKAP vs a full store builder for physical products

Here is how QKAP compares with three store builders Indian sellers often consider. Competitor details are as of October 2026, from each company's own pricing or help pages; fees change, so check them before you decide.

| | QKAP (our product) | Instamojo | Shopify (India) | Dukaan |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cash on delivery | No | Yes, on its Lite, Starter and Growth plans | Yes, as a manual payment method | Check Dukaan's pricing page |
| Shipping | You book the courier and paste tracking | Shipping partner integrations (its FAQ names Shiprocket, Shipway, Pickrr and Vamaship) | Full e-commerce platform; check its shipping options | "Dukaan delivery", described as its pan-India shipping partner |
| What it costs | No commission or per-sale fee; free plan available | Free Lite plan; gateway charge of 2% + ₹3 per transaction, plus plan-based store fees | Basic from ₹1,499 a month billed yearly, plus a 2% fee on Basic if you use a third-party payment provider | "Start free" option; check its pricing page for plans and fees |
| Where the money goes | Straight to your UPI ID or payment link; you confirm each order | Instamojo settles to you 3 days after the transaction | Through your payment provider | Check Dukaan's site |

Our honest read: if COD, courier integration or a large catalogue matters most, a store builder such as Instamojo or Shopify fits better. If you sell a few products from reels, get paid by UPI and want no per-sale cut, a product on your QKAP page is simpler. QKAP is our product, so read our [criteria-based ranking of link-in-bio stores for physical products](https://qkap.app/blog/best-link-in-bio-for-physical-products-india) with that in mind.

Start with your best seller: list it, set honest stock and a clear delivery fee, and send your next "DM to order" crowd to the product page instead.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I offer free delivery?

Yes. Leave the delivery fee at 0 or empty and checkout shows free delivery. The fee is charged once per order, not per unit, so you can also build delivery into the price.

### Do buyers get tracking updates automatically?

Their order page updates the moment you save a new status or tracking details. QKAP doesn't pull live tracking events from couriers, so buyers use the "Track your parcel" button for those. Send the one-tap WhatsApp update when you ship so they know to look.

### Can I ship outside India?

Yes. Checkout accepts addresses in India and 18 other countries, including the UAE, the UK, the US, Canada, Australia and Singapore. There's one delivery fee per product, though, and UPI only works in rupee shops, so international buyers need your payment link. One simple option is a separate product for international orders with a higher delivery fee.

### How do I handle a return?

Agree the return with the buyer, then mark the order **Returned** once it's back (only shipped or delivered orders can be). Refund the buyer directly through the method they paid with. Put your return policy in the product's FAQs so buyers know it before they order.

### Is there a fee on physical product sales?

QKAP charges no commission or per-sale fee on any plan; payments go straight to you. Your UPI app or payment provider may have its own charges. Compare plans on the [pricing page](https://qkap.app/pricing).
