# Build Your Link-in-Bio Page With One AI Prompt

> Connect an AI assistant to QKAP and build your whole page from one prompt: design, bio, links, posts, store and community. Four example prompts inside.

You can build a complete QKAP link-in-bio page with one well-written prompt. Connect an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT to QKAP's MCP server at `https://qkap.app/mcp`, then describe who you are, the look you want, your links, your posts, what you sell and whether you want a community. The assistant reads your page, picks a template, sets colours and fonts, writes your bio, adds links, creates numbered posts and store products, and orders the sections. Every change goes live straight away, so you finish by checking the page on your phone.

## Key takeaways

- QKAP's MCP server gives AI assistants 177 tools that cover the same things you do in the dashboard: design, profile, links, posts, collections, reel series, community groups, store, subscribers, emails, cafe menus, inbox, analytics and team.
- One detailed prompt can set up a whole page, because the assistant chains the tools for you: overview first, then design, profile, content, store and layout.
- The assistant works as you, with your plan's limits. Free plan limits and Premium features apply exactly as in the dashboard.
- It can't change your password, two-factor login or billing, and it can't delete your account.
- Give it real details: prices, UPI ID or payment link, affiliate links and image links. A good assistant asks rather than invents them.
- Changes are live immediately, so always finish with a quick review on your phone.

## What "one prompt" actually means

An AI assistant connected to QKAP is not a template generator that hands you a file. It works directly on your real page through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that lets AI apps use tools from other services. QKAP's server exposes the actions behind your dashboard as tools, such as `get_page_overview`, `apply_template`, `update_profile`, `create_link`, `create_post`, `create_store_product` and `update_page_layout`.

When you write one long prompt that describes your whole page, the assistant plans the steps and calls those tools one after another. You don't need to know any tool names. You describe the result; it does the clicking.

If you haven't connected an assistant yet, follow [how to connect QKAP to Claude][1] or [how to connect QKAP to ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code][2] first. The full reference is in the [AI connections help doc][3], and the [AI assistant feature page][4] gives the overview.

## What happens, step by step

QKAP tells every connected assistant how to work well. Here is the order a good assistant follows when you ask it to build a page.

### 1. It reads your page first

The assistant starts with a page overview: your handle and public URL, name, bio, photo, plan and its limits, published status, how many posts, links, products, collections, series and community groups you have, your current design and your section order. That way it builds on what's there instead of starting blind.

### 2. It checks the design options

Before changing the look, it reads every design option: full-page templates (golden-hour, mystic, power, snapshot, clean-studio and midnight-hour), quick styles (clean, luxe, soft, bold, fresh, editorial, sunset, neon and notebook), themes, fonts, heading fonts, header layouts, button and card styles, and background options, including which ones are Premium.

### 3. It designs the page

It applies a template or quick style that suits your niche, then fine-tunes the palette: page background, text, cards, buttons and button text, with enough contrast to read. QKAP returns contrast warnings when colours clash, so the assistant can fix them. For more on what makes a page look good, see [link-in-bio page design tips][5].

### 4. It writes your profile

It sets your display name (up to 50 characters), bio (up to 300 characters) and your social and contact links, such as Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, email and website. If you give it a profile photo link, it can set that too.

### 5. It adds your content

Depending on your prompt, it creates custom link buttons, [numbered shoppable posts][6] with products, affiliate links, prices and coupon codes, collections that group posts, reel series built from video links, and community groups.

### 6. It sets up your store

For a store, it checks your store and payment settings first and tells you what's missing. It can create downloads, lead magnets, coaching calls, courses, memberships, physical products, bundles, tips and link cards. Products start as drafts unless you say to publish, and a paid product needs your UPI ID (for INR) or your own payment link before it can go live.

### 7. It orders the sections and reports back

Finally it arranges your sections so the most important thing comes first, whether that's links, shop, menu or posts. It can also add text, announcement, video and divider blocks. Then it summarises what it changed and gives you your page link.

## Four complete example prompts

Copy one of these, swap in your own details and send it. The more specific you are, the less the assistant has to guess.

### Skincare creator with affiliate picks

> Build my QKAP page as a skincare creator. Look: minimal beige, soft and calm, with an elegant heading font. Name: Riya Skin Notes. Write a short, friendly bio about honest skincare for oily, acne-prone skin, under 200 characters. Add my Instagram (@riyaskinnotes) and YouTube (youtube.com/@riyaskinnotes). Create numbered post #1 "My 4-step night routine" with these products: [paste product links, prices and coupon codes]. Read each link to fill in the title and image. Create a collection called "Routines" with that post in it. Add a link button "Book a skin consult" to [your booking link]. Put my posts first, then links. Don't publish anything you're unsure about; ask me.

### Home cafe

> Set up my QKAP page for a home cafe called Little Bean Kitchen in Pune. Look: warm and cosy, cream and coffee-brown colours. Bio: homemade coffee and bakes, weekend pre-orders only. Turn on the cafe and restaurant section. Address: [your address]. Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 9 am to 2 pm, closed other days. Make menu sections "Coffee" and "Bakes" and paste these items: Filter coffee - 60, Cold brew - 120, Banana bread - 90, Chocolate cookie - 50. Mark the bakes as veg. Add my WhatsApp [number with country code] so people can order. Put the menu first, then Visit us.

### Fitness coach

> Build my QKAP page as an online fitness coach for busy beginners. Look: bold and energetic, dark background with a bright accent. Name: Coach Arjun. Bio under 200 characters about simple home workouts. Create a coaching product "1:1 form check call", 30 minutes, available Monday to Friday 7 to 9 am, at a price I'll confirm. Create a free lead magnet "7-day home workout plan" that people get for their email. Create a free community group "Morning Movers" with a welcome post. Add links to my YouTube and Instagram. Put the shop first. Check my payment settings and tell me what's missing before publishing the paid call.

### Digital product seller

> Set up my QKAP page to sell Lightroom presets. Look: clean editorial, white with black text. Name: Mira Edits. Bio: presets and editing tips for moody travel photos. Create a download product "Moody Travel Preset Pack" with a clear tagline and description; I'll upload the files in the dashboard. Price: [your price]. Create a discount code LAUNCH20 for 20% off that product, ending [date]. Add a link "Free editing guide" to [link]. Put the shop first, then links. My UPI ID is [your UPI ID]; publish the pack once everything is set.

## Tips for a great prompt

- **Describe the look in words.** "Minimal beige", "luxury black and gold" or "bold neon" gives the assistant a clear direction for template, palette and fonts.
- **Say what matters most.** Tell it which section should come first. On a creator page that is usually posts or the shop; for a cafe it's the menu.
- **Give real data, never placeholders you forget to fill.** Prices, UPI IDs, payment links, affiliate links, tracking pixel IDs and coupon codes must come from you. QKAP instructs assistants never to invent prices, affiliate links or payment details.
- **Share images as web links.** The assistant can use an https image link or images already on QKAP. It can't upload photos from your computer or phone; do that in the dashboard.
- **Name the page if you have more than one.** Add "on @yourhandle" so the assistant works on the right page.
- **Ask it to check before publishing.** "Show me the plan first" or "ask before publishing anything paid" keeps you in control.
- **Mention your plan.** If you're on Free, say so, and ask it to stay within your limits. If a feature needs Premium, the assistant will explain that rather than keep retrying.

## Already have a page somewhere else?

The assistant can import another link-in-bio page, such as Linktree, Wishlink, Stan or Beacons, from its URL: profile, links, products and posts, and the look. Start your prompt with "Import my page from [link], then redesign it as…" and it handles both parts. You can read more in [the page import guide][8].

## What to check after the assistant finishes

Because every change is live straight away, take two minutes to review:

1. **Open your page on your phone.** Use the link the assistant gives you and scroll the whole page.
2. **Read the bio and every button label.** Fix anything that doesn't sound like you.
3. **Tap every link.** Make sure each one opens the right place, especially affiliate links.
4. **Check prices and coupon codes** on posts and products against your source.
5. **Check contrast.** Text on buttons and cards should be easy to read in daylight.
6. **Check the store.** Confirm which products are published and which are still drafts, and that payment details are correct.
7. **Look at the section order.** The most important thing should be on the first screen.

If something's off, just tell the assistant: "Make the buttons darker", "Move links above posts" or "Shorten my bio". Small follow-up prompts are often faster than editing by hand.

## What the assistant can't do

For safety, AI assistants can never change your password, two-factor login or billing, and can never delete your account. They also can't upload files from your device, so product files for downloads and photo uploads stay in the dashboard. If you connect with read-only access, the assistant can look at everything but change nothing until you reconnect with write access.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do I need Premium to use an AI assistant with QKAP?

No. You can connect an assistant on any plan. It works with your plan's limits, so on Free it can do everything Free allows. If you ask for a Premium feature, such as a non-free theme or a paid community group, it will tell you it needs [Premium][9].

### Will the assistant publish things without asking?

Changes go live immediately, so tell it how careful to be. Store products start as drafts unless you ask to publish, and assistants are told to confirm before sending emails or inbox replies. Adding "ask me before publishing" to your prompt is a good habit.

### Can it use photos from my phone?

Not directly. It can use images from web links you give it and images already stored on QKAP. Upload photos from your phone in the dashboard, then ask the assistant to use them.

### What if I don't like the result?

Ask for changes in plain words, such as "try a lighter palette" or "use the luxe style instead". You can also edit anything by hand in the dashboard, since it's the same page.

### Which AI apps work with QKAP?

Any app that supports remote MCP servers, including Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and Claude Code. Most sign in with OAuth; tools that can't can use an API key from Dashboard → Account → AI connections.
